Re: Bitter Sweet
Without starting the debate that everyone should be past by now (FBS vs FCS) I wanted to express my bitter sweet feelings towards Saturday's game. Very happy we made a bowl game and finished the regular season 10-2, but hate knowing that after Saturday, I will be without ASU football for awhile. I ...

Re: Tickets yet?
I would call, but I have heard they are sold out. If that's the case, you will have to buy directly from the Bowl.BUTCH1991 wrote:Does the ASU ticket office still have any? I need to add one ticket.

Re: Tickets yet?
Unfortunatly not, live in Colorado now. Didnt get my tickets until last night. Had to buy them from Camellia Bowl directly as our allotment was out. Got to chose my seats however which was nice. Still have thousands of seats for sale to the game as of yesterday. Far from a sellout. The AppState sid...

Re: Pay to Play
Some of you guys are coming down awfully tough on this - I'm not in Boone so I don't know, but are the APP athletes talking this up? Are the coaches campaigning for this? Is the administration singing its praises? Some seem to be taking this as a personal affront? --- It's far as AppState is concer...

Re: Sunday Morning QB ---
WAS NOT RESURRECTING THE FBS/FCS ARGUMENT - Just making the point that some of here who were all-in for the move-up are now all-in for bitching about where we are --- THIS IS NOT AN ARGUMENT ABOUT THE MOVE !!! Yeah, but you went there none-the-less. This team lost to a 3-3 big south team last night...

Re: Attendance from here on out
I will be there for every game GOD enables me to attend. I have nothing nice to say about the broken ankes for the people jumping off. See ya when we start winning again !! Life is long, faith is hard, and APP Football will RISE AGAIN............someday This "game" last night wasn't the straw the b...

Re: The positive view: We are a JV football team
Wondered how long it would take for the "It's ok to be this bad, we are young" crowd to come around. Did not see any last night, but here they are. No, its not ok, something has to be done about it right freaking NOW! Inside the locker room or out. I have to agree. We can argue some improvement on ...

Re: "Give a Mountaineer a chance."
I'll give a Mountaineer a chance. But I will not be driving 6 hours round trip plus gas and food anymore this year. App has my money for club and season tickets... and they will next year. But I'll be watching from ESPN 3 from here on out... like a lot of other fans based on the empty season ticket ...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
your right, that strange to supposedly have so many 3 star players, but few other offers from larger schools. The only thing I can think of is maybe some of these kids have issues off the field that is making the larger schools hesitate. This is a new coaching staff that wants to make a big impress...

Re: Great way to end FCS!
I'm not an APP grad that being my preface to my question --- Why is there so much hatred for WCU? - I mean, I could understand the anger/hatred Western could have for APP because they are looked down on and have been whopped on the football field for so long but I just don't understand the animosit...

They just don't stop, do they? Jarrett insults our team, fans, new conference, and schedule in the same article. Can't get out of here fast enough. http://www.citizen-times.com/article/20131122/SPORTS/311220025/SoCon-FCS-say-good-bye-Appalachian-State This guy has a serious, serious, problem. Total...

Re: SoCon Cup Points 17 Nov 2013
Man, Furman, Elon, Samford, and UNC-G are kicking our fannies in per sport points. As much as we moan and groan about the SoCon being taken over by the small privates the truth of the matter is that they have been taken care of business this year, and for the last few on average better than the pub...

Re: One thing I'll miss about the SoCon
I'll miss the opportunities to travel to short distance away games in the SoCon. It will be out of my reach to travel to most away games in the Sun Belt. We will likely have poor representation at Sun Belt venues. I don't think so. I just think more alumni that live throughout the Southeast will ge...

I don't know about that. Looks to me that 3 SBC home games are winnable, and one road game (GSU). Don't know about...??? Sounds like you parakeeted what I said back to me. Interested to know which programs you guys would be in favor of giving a 2 for 1 deal? Is there any program(s) that our fan bas...

Re: Official Sonny Seiler prediction thread
Offense starts out on fire, and the rumors of Todd Gurley being suspended are true. We take a lead into halftime, causing all the major networks to bring up Michigan. Then, we fizzle in the second half and lose by a respectable score. Another band of hicks from Georgia- 38 Hicks from North Carolina...
