I am going through some of my great aunts stuff, ASTC and ASU grad and found some old app state glasses and wondered if anyone had any information on them and worth
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: No tailgate spots for students this season
I think most people upset right now are only upset for one reason. They think "App State Tailgate" isn't a fan account, but rather an official part of the University. I'd wait to see if the athletic department makes a statement regarding tailgating, then grab pitchforks. Except App State Tailgate w...

Re: No tailgate spots for students this season
I doubt the attentivity of the image, no official message would have the snark with the smaller text. The logo used would also be the Campus Activities logo or Student Development.
Here is a link to the Official page for student tailgating:

Re: EXPANDING STADIUM TO 40k CAPACITY
Ok It's a secret. I get it. The funding source is not public yet, correct. But, that is not the reason for my response. It's not technically cash on hand or loans.. Somebody bought a lottery ticket. Clark's just waiting for his OnlyFans account to pay off. Guys, AppStateNews assured us months ago t...

Re: Antal (WTEN coach) leaves
Unless Athletics sent a press release about this and no one reported on it, this hasn't been announced, but Ashleigh Antal, the App Women's Tennis head coach for the last three years, resigned last week to take an associate head coaching job at Clemson. The team had a winning 2023 season, going 8-3...

Re: Curcio leaves Cross Country/Track program
Not the case. Curcio wanted to be a lifer. The explanation alumni have been told is the current director of track and field wants his own people, so Curcio was pushed out. That makes no sense whatsoever considering his spectacular success and ties to the school. What does "wants his own people" eve...

Re: Stadium experience Director
One thing that seems to be over looked here is the second part of his Title "Revenue Generation".
Be prepared for more of the experience being monetized and prices to increase as he ramps up both parts of his job.
As for BBQ, Woodlands is no more so don't get your hopes up.

Re: Roll Neers…wtf
I’m too old and cranky to research on my own but can someone tell me why “Roll Neers” is used when obviously its synonymous with Alabama?! What’s next “Weagle, Weagle Neers” ….”Woo Pig Sooie Neers” “Hook Em Neers” ??? It’s rainy and I’m bored so just pondering life and this question came to mind… W...

Re: Randy Marion Track Facility
Good! This should help both men and womens' sports. Only drawback I see is the increased traffic trying to cross 105. This should be addressed later on. An additional traffic light will not be sufficient. All in all, it is a great day for ASU. An additional traffic light handled traffic there for y...

Re: Men's Soccer
Where would our mens' soccer team play? Is the project at the old Watauga site finished (for soccer and track) ????? Doesn't seem like it would work having to share the present womens' soccer field. They shared a field before. Why couldn't they now? That's correct. According to some on here we didn...

Re: 105 Track Breaking it in
About 6 years since it was removed from KBS and 2 meets into the season and 2 days before the 3rd, finally we have a proper track and field.
Now we just need to get the facilities and other buildings built.
Now to Tennis after it's courts were turned into parking.

They haven't had a full track to train at in over 5 years. Let's see what football does with a 50 yard field without a goalpost. Isn't indoor track in Holmes? We've hosted meets there this season. You are correct. They do have an indoor facility in which to practice. It seems that we have some outs...

Re: Another Pointless Post about WKBC
Simple questions: Do we pay WKBC to broadcast our games? Or does WKBC pay for most of the costs. For instance, who gets the revenue from the commercials? Is it shared? Who pays our announcement team? Who pays for production costs? Who pays for travel expenses to other game sites? The current radio ...

Re: Turf V Grass
A grass field that is properly maintained and engineered and is only used for games is the best field for football. To get KBS to a grass field, you would probably have to dig down 3-4 feet to start the drainage and the building of the soil for the grass to take good hold. There have been a number o...
