Re: Armanti's 2018 season begins Friday

Argos really struggled last night. Sounds like Ricky Ray may be ok following his injury though I can't see his reutrning soon. It's fun to see football in the summer. I definitely like CFL better than NFL. The speed of the game makes it a fairly close cousin to the college ball I love.

Our current freshman to sophomore year retention rate is 89%. That ranks 20% above the national average.

Re: Former Toledo QB Woodside busted for DUI

All jokes aside, this could easily have been one of our players or family members. I hope he'll make better choices in the future.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm

I can see folks skipping this game or a September home game. Not everyone can carve out four weekends in a row for games that are either close to home or home games in Boone. It's not a problem for me to make the Charlotte, Southern Miss, Gardner Webb, and South Alabama in back to back to back to ba...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

For many folks athletics is the front door to the university. For others the front door is art or music or international business. The whole reason we're a "university" is that our educational focus is broad and deep and not confined to one "college". We all have our passions - those things, ideas, ...

Re: Ticketing Question

Welcome to the board. You'll be able to order single game tickets the first week of August. I recommend getting your tickets directly through the ticket office (828.262.2079). No one will have tickets in hand for any games until early August, so your best bet for Father's Day is to print a sample ti...

Looks like it was a packed house. How did y'all like it? Good food? Nice space? Enough contact with / access to athletics folks / coaches?

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

Heads up, but the county and ASU are hammering out an agreement to lease the Health Department's parking lot off Poplar Grove Extension for paid parking this season . It might be an alternative for low-level Yosef parking when the West Campus is covered in yellow machines. What construction will be...

 I like Brown a lot and thought he’d have a real chance to win the job. Sounds like Thomas really stepped up and separated himself from the group before much of a competition ever really developed. My impression is that Satt is pretty confident in him. Now right tackle might be a different st...

Re: Penn state hotels

Altoona to State College is a pretty easy drive on game day. All four lane. Harrisburg to State College gets tricky about 15 miles outside of State College due to four lane going down to two lane. It'll be worse this coming season due to some new construction building a bypass around a small town t...

Any Yosef volunteers (Daphne?) know how many reserved and GA seats UNCC gave our ticket office?

Re: Roll Call- UNC-Harrisb...errr I mean UNC-Charlotte

I'd be surprised if there will be enough seats for the band to go to UNCC. I would imagine that the Niners would make us use part of our allotment, and I don't think the ticket office will want to reduce supply to season ticket holders and other people that want to attend that game. Having said tha...
