Re: Construction Pics

The visiting team will use the Quinn as its locker room. Our guys will continue to use the current Athletic Center locker rooms. Once the new facility is finished, the visitors will use our current locker rooms and we will use North End Zone facility locker rooms.

Re: Lance Ware to ASU

Jalin actually did go one year to Shelby before landing at Crest. He and I had a fun conversation about the differences between the two schools at last year's Legends gala.

Spring game is an open practice / scrimmage March 30th at 10:00. Baseball and softball are at home that afternoon. It'll be a great day to be on the mountain!

Re: If you're not part of Yosef

I am a recent graduate (May '18) who cannot give a substantial amount, but would love to begin a payment plan and start my giving. Does anyone know where I can go to take advantage of the young alumni discount? I did some digging and the appstatesports website says to go to "appstatesports.com/youn...

Re: If you're not part of Yosef

Not sure I would use IPTAY as an example. That organization has a checkered history to say the least. Some say that IPTAY stands for I Pay Ten Athletes Yearly. The IPTAY reference is generally used to demonstrate the impact of broad based fundraising. I'd be surprised to find any organization found...

Re: If you're not part of Yosef

What's the best way to join? Call the office or online? Or does it make any difference. I didn't see anywhere to pledge for future years on the website. Right now, it's best to call the Yosef office and tell them what you want to have happen. Contact Virgina Falck at 828.262.3109. Thanks for joinin...

Re: If you're not part of Yosef

Daphne, you need to ask the Alumni Assoc to print this and try to get it in the Appalachian and the Watauga Democrat. You are preaching to a large number of choir members here. Thanks, Rekdiver. With #iBackAPP day coming up on May 2nd, this may be something that could cover both the Appalachian Fun...

Re: If you're not part of Yosef

With all credit given to Daphne, i would love to see this posted everywhere, every yosef document and on the website. Just so well said. Thank you! Thanks! I believe Yosef staff are really working diligently to make sure every single one of our 127,000 alumni understand that they're all welcome in ...

Put it to the floor and blow their damn doors off in the second half. This is no time for quarter. It's the Battle of Culloden, baby.
We Urquharts weren't too fond of Culloden.

If you're not part of Yosef

It seems there's long-held perception that Yosef is only for big money donors. Thankfully, I didn't know about that perception when I joined Yosef for a whopping $50 when our son first enrolled at App in 2005. I've been fortunate enough to increase that $50 donation over the years and have seen firs...

Re: WBB: UALR@App State

UALR is tied for first in the conference with their only loss to Troy. So far, UALR is dominating the game. Turnovers have been a factor as they were the last time these two teams met. We're not "there" yet, but we're making consistent progress. As an aside here, I wouldn't want to play against Ashl...

Re: WBB: UALR@App State

If you can possibly be in Boone for the game, please make your way to Holmes to cheer on the team. I'd much rather be in Boone on this fine sunny day than sitting at my desk. Alas, this desk and the work done at it are what afford me the chance to support App State financially. No complaints here.

Men's Basketball @ A-State

Interestingly, just heard the announcer say something along the lines of being "surprised" that the Mountaineers were "sharing the ball", that he thought it would be another "Shabazz show". It's no surprise that "sharing the ball" we're winning at this point in the game. Keep up the good work, guys.

Re: Away game preorder

Ten for NC, eight for SC. What is my poor UNC graduate wife going to wear since all she owns is black and gold, not a stitch of Carolina Blue? Probably the same thing this Chapel Hill graduate is going to wear. Hint: the only Carolina Blue clothing I own is a sweatshirt, and the game is in the flat...
