Re: Apparently App has legitimately been considered in Belk Bowl talks.
It really comes down to 4 SEC teams getting into the NY6 games which is extremely likely because I believe 4 will be in the top 11 if not top 10. If Baylor and Wisconsin lose as expected than this is the case. Cotton is Auburn vs Memphis. Rose is Oregon vs Penn St or Wisconsin. Orange is Florida vs ...

Re: Road Crowds vs. Home Crowds
We play a lot of road games in cities that are easier in our alumni base to get too. For example Atlanta, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, etc. Plus we are going through a run of cool P5s to go too as well. I can’t imagine how weak the home crowds may be next year with the porous schedule we have.

Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
I think Drinkwitz seems to do a great job of keeping the players focused on just the next game with the 1-0 mindset. I just never understood how a fan message board would distract the team. I think having experienced a top 25 raking last year and then losing it several days later in Statesboro was ...

Re: Schedule going forward
Similar to the Big 10, the two best teams will likely play twice this year. This game gives the winner a huge advantage in their division but more importantly to host the conference title game.

Eric Church who? I would be interested to know how many people on here outrank Eric in the Yosef Club. I get your point but money doesn’t buy fandom. Just because you have a lot of money and give some to your university. Eric was approached about something like this in the past and was disintereste...

Re: Coastal Carolina
Here is another thing to keep in mind. It eerily reminds me to the 2007 team. 2006 and 2018 were our 2 most dominant defensive teams this century. Those two seasons the defense constantly made big stops. Offense did enough. This year much like 2007, we are scoring much more and much faster. Less tim...

It also does not help playing 4 games in 5 weeks that are all in driving distance. Missing one or more of the 3 to attend UNC is a popular option.

Re: Women's Soccer - Sarah Strickland
Since I was in school in 2011 and knew a few female soccer players who were not fond of her, I was always wondering how she skirted by it seemed at times. She’s done just enough every time she has been on the hot seat to warrant another chance.

I believe in Charlotte last year we had between 8-9K. Depending on how many tickets we get our hands on it will be between 10-12K.

Re: Private support of App—This is where we must go
That is the battle App has been fighting for years. It also helps now that App is not just a fall back plan. I’m hoping that alone will change the attitude towards giving back to the university.
As little as $5 or $10 a month adds up. That’s a cup of coffee and a sub each month.

I’ve actually said all offseason that ETSU poses more of a threat than Charlotte. I think their 1s are as good if not better than Charlotte. The issue for them will be scoring.

Re: NC A&T Looks to go FBS
The issue for A&T is money. I don’t see how they can do it financially. Personally, I thought the same thing about Coastal Carolina when they were going from FCS to FBS. The thing that saved Coastal is they are very good in baseball historically and have larger donors I would think. A&T would likel...
