We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Interim Chancellor
Any insight as to whether we’ll see that Interim title removed or not? From what I have been told by friends still working at App, she is nearly unanimously loved by staff and faculty there, as she has risen to the occasion very quickly and brings a warmth to the office that was missing in Everts. I...

Re: Dowell Loggains
Also, not to nitpick here, but something that really bothers me is that whoever designed this didn't even edit the USC stadium out of Loggains' glasses. You can still see the burgundy/red endzone and everything. I've worked in marketing for nearly a decade now and these sorts of things, the lack of...

Re: Dowell Loggains
Why is this hire such a shock to so many? Was it the best we could do? Well, yes probably so, because in 5 years we have gone from being a G5 power to a G5 that loses more than they win. This year we downgraded from average to below average. Guys with big names and stellar resumes also have the lux...

First impressions when the hire was announced:
1. Clark
2. Drink
3. Loggains
After more research:

2. Clark
3. Loggains

Re: Dowell Loggains
In my EXTREMELY unimportant opinion that has absolutely zero bearing on the future of this program or athletic department: based on my research of him, he's a great guy with a lot of heart, but he was a lazy hire. This hire is giving, "We have to keep the entire team from transferring and we're runn...

Re: Dowell Loggains
On the plus side, based on his current resume, if he craps the bed here, he’ll be gone by next December. It looks like he is more of a long-term rental guy than a homeowner in his previous stops. How funny will it be if this dude is successful AND sticks around? Playing at Dowell Loggains field in ...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
This is a lateral hire from Clark. In fact I could argue that Clark would be slightly better because he bleeds black and gold. LOL. Clark's resume isn't even in the same universe with Dowell Loggains. Not saying I'm thrilled with the hire, but he's far more qualified than Clark. More qualified? Sur...

If it’s true, this is his worst hire to date, by far, but I’ll give the new guy a chance to see if it pans out. If not, they can both go.

If it’s really LG, App fans better be ready to enter our own era of GS-level irrelevancy because that hire is next level bad and damning.

I’m trying to breathe through this, but this decision is a program maker-or-breaker. Literally everything is on the line and a lackluster hire by DG could ruin any and all momentum.

Re: Pete Thamel- App State Fires Shawn Clark
Now that the deed is done and all the anti-Shawn Clark folks are tickled pink I have a few comments. First, I hope that we somehow find the $$$ to pay the next HC a 7 figure salary like some of our SB brethren are doing. Second, all YC members need to make sure that they back-track on the threats t...

From the press release: "We have commenced a national search to quickly find the next leader for App State Football." My guess is they already have somebody in mind and/or have had conversations with a handful of prospects and that we will know something by the end of next week at the latest. That ...
