Re: Charlotte-Carolina FB H&H
Ah, I see... I forgot about the hill! We don't have such a location, so the students either sit in their allotted seats or are forced to buy general admission. I think the home opener for Presby Saturday has seen the full allotment claimed, so students are on the list for a lottery. Presby has only ...

Re: Charlotte-Carolina FB H&H
Unfortunately you see A LOT more "silver" at KBS than just when the band steps away for 15 minutes. Nice troll attempt though. True, regarding the band. Our new band fills a whole section now. Honestly curious, what is the student allotment for KBS? For years 1 and 2, we allocated nearly half the s...

Re: Charlotte-Carolina FB H&H
So what are the details and timeline for Richardson Stadium expansion? Our AD is notoriously tight lipped about everything. We even have a "silent capital campaign" that is, by insider accounts, doing very well, yet hasn't been advertised. It's one of our constant gripes on the NNN boards- give us ...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
I just get a very "Carolina-esk" feel from some fans here At least we ain't got UNC in our freakin name. Believe me, we'd LOVE to do something about that! That comment has less to do with any perceived threat, more to do with an attitude of "We are better than you because "X", an you can never be a...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
We beat Charlotte on about 6 kids . And we beat ya'll for 4 kids (Per 247), but are one year behind y'all on the transitional schedule. Yeah dude, you're totally right. We have double the fans, an athletics center that cost more than your entire stadium, and we've actually had a winning season befo...

We beat Charlotte on about 6 kids . And we beat ya'll for 4 kids (Per 247), but are one year behind y'all on the transitional schedule. You can offer recruits immediate playing time at the FBS level THIS year, we cant do that until 2015. Your 2014 RS will be playing for a bowl eligible team the fir...

"The 49ers will host the the Mountaineers on Sept. 7, 2018 at Richardson Stadium; the second game will be Sept. 8, 2019 at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone." “It’s a game that should be played and I’m glad that we were able to get it on our schedule,” said 49ers head football coach Brad Lambert in a st...

Re: Here we go!
this is great news, I glad both sides put their egos aside to finally make this happen. I also get why its going to be 2018, there is no way UNCC could compete in the next couple of years, gives them time to get their program up to speed and competitive. Hopefully, this will lead to a annual game, ...

Even less enthusiastic than your game against Campbell next year? Geeze, that hurts!TheMoody1 wrote:I couldn't be more underwhelmed. Eventually, I hope we can actually get some good games.

Re: Here we go!
Finally a judgment day. It could get ugly for the Niners. It could, but could also get ugly for the Mountaineers. A lot can happen in 4 years time - Don't believe your long run of success can come to a crashing end? Just ask Southern Miss. And who knows what the next years of the Satterfield era ha...

Just came here to post the same thing! I'm looking forward to it as well as a trip up to KBS to watch my Niners play. Also looking forward to having the Appys down to Richardson Stadium, which will likely be expanded by then.
I think this is a win for both fan bases. Thoughts?

Re: UNCC @ App State
For the record, I would not want Stephen Doughton to remain with the program if the the positions had been reversed. For anyone to have reacted like that, let alone someone acting in the course of their job, is absurd. One thing about Major is he has always tried to be classy (except maybe for the ...

lol what? i've heard many jokes made about Major's hairline on CHARLOTTE sports radio shows. it's not just App fans that are doing so. you're fans/coaches need not be so damn sensitive Its true! Most of us have learned to just embrace it in a #fearthehairline kind of way! :P There was talk that if ...

Judy was protecting her fledgling football team and was looking for W's anywhere she could find one. This was the first series ever signed in football - Our very first inked opponent was also our final for the inaugural season, a H:H deal made long before the CUSA invite was ever seriously expected...

It centers around entertainment value moreo than anything else. My God son, you must be one bored mother f'er. You really need to get a life. I browse message boards to find information on my teams - For fun, I've got a lot better ideas than this. I can't think of a fan base that deserved a big sli...

Not excited about playing UNCC but, 2018 in Boone sounds about right. You know, I have no problem with a visit to Boone in 2018. Its been about 10 years since I was in Kidd Brewer - might have to make a nice weekend of it. That being said, we all know this would be a H&H series at minimum, so I'm l...

Good Read - No one knows how we will handle this football thing, which is one of the reasons it is so exciting! Anyhow, you make some good points and I enjoyed reading about our program as viewed by an opposing teams fan base. Best of luck this year!

We're eligible for the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Championship. Got ya - just read up on it so you can qualify for SBC title in 2014 and then a bowl in 2015. Cool. Thats one year before us. Another honest question, because I'm confused about NCAA transfer rules with both of us transitioning from FCS ...

Been a while since I've been by to visit, so congrats on the FBS invite. Having family ties to ASU, I'm looking forward to a potential matchup between our teams in the future! It is amazing what one can learn about his alma mater from an opposing fan base message board. Apparently, as an alum of Charlotte, I didn't even have to take the SAT, as all I needed for admissions was a pulse, and my engineering degree isn't worth the paper it is written on. I suppose I will head ...
