Re: Love Blair, Lamm & Stout, but Damn It Stop

Even with the sarcasm, this is still ridiculous. Please remove your baby blue shirt come September - or don't.

Re: Love Eric Church but damn it stop

He’s an absolute clown. I never cared for him, and I still don’t. I hope we hang 100 on them in September. They can have him.

Did I miss the months-long social media buildup to this monumental announcement?

We should drop men's and women's golf.
Trade it out for men’s and women’s lacrosse 🥍
I could definitely get on board with this. I love hockey, too, but that's a logistical nightmare. I would assume lacrosse would be far less difficult to get up and running.

Re: Luke Combs

I love his passion for App State, but the state of country music is beyond depressing and that includes his. His voice power/control is among the best of any modern genre. There's disliking country, and then there's just not having an ear for good music at all... I listen almost exclusively to coun...

I drink a Sun Drop every day. If I never even heard the words Mountain Dew, again, it would be too soon. Same goes for Pepsi.

Re: At Tennessee this weekend

Our best bet is for every batter to stand as close to the plate as possible. That was pathetic. There’s no other way to describe the hitting.

App St. vs. Gardner Webb at BB&T Ballpark

I'm sure most of you are already aware, but tickets are on sale now for the first game of the annual Sunbelt Rentals Collegiate Series. App plays Gardner Webb in uptown Charlotte at BB&T Ballpark Friday, March 1. Tickets are available at the below link. I've purchased my four. See you there. https:/...

You inspired me. I called this morning to up my donation using the payment plan. Sometimes, literally all it takes is someone giving you a nudge which you did. Keep up the good work.

Re: Apps picked last in East for 2019

The weather certainly makes it more difficult. Is it impossible? Absolutely not. We HAVE had some good teams, and it was because we had the right mix of players and a great coach. I believe we now have the coach part down, again, and I hope we're getting that mix of players. On another note, does an...

Re: Food,booze and Memories

I'm not much of a fan, but I saw Luke Combs playing along with Adam Church 6 or 8 years ago at The Rock (the bar). Flipside was our go-to on Wednesdays when they had 2 for $5 personal deep dish pizzas. It's still my favorite spot to date in Boone. Hate it's gone.

I call him Coach Drinkwitz as I called Coach Satterfield by his full last name, but I don't really care what others do. Seems alright to do either.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread

i dont know why we want someone with a 6-45 record as HC to be around to "help" the new HC I honestly hope someone asks him that question verbatim at the next presser. I do think it's a valid question why we would bring someone in who has had so little success as a coach and is on the downside of h...

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread

I'll wait to see it confirmed, but this is the type of move that could destroy all of the goodwill coach Drinkwitz has built, to this point. This would not be good for him.

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread

I fully appreciate their contributions and dedication, and I'm glad they wanted to stay. I don't know what kind of effort we made to keep them. What I do know is that you can't serve two masters. I'm not saying the coaches themselves would have created division amongst the players, but I can almost ...
