Re: NewApp, aka JCline Passes

I didn’t know him directly or personally, but he taught my dad and both of my aunts at a small elementary school in Stanly County. This would have been late 60s-early 70s. My dad told me that there were weekly quizzes every Monday, and anyone who knew the score of the App game automatically received...

Re: Bowie and Eggers coming down

I was in Bowie 508 freshman year in 2004. We had a bunch of players on our floor that year - Kevin Richardson, Hans Batichon, Brandon Simpkins and Cory Rycroft - maybe more that I can’t recall.

Pathetic showing. First game or not, and I know Campbell is a good team, that’s awful.

Re: Coastal Rejection?

I don’t know the circumstances surrounding this gathering, but I can say for an absolute fact that the last time CCU came to town, there was a CCU alumni gathering there. They took up the front room/area, got there early and hung banners and what not and even tried to give me a CCU bracelet. Right o...

Re: 2021 Baseball Mega Thread

Got tickets for App vs UNC-Concord on the 23rd. Excited to see the team and new stadium. I snagged two, as well. If any of you haven't seen it already, the city of Kannapolis has really done a great job with the stadium and the surrounding area. I'd highly recommend getting there a bit early and gr...

Re: 2021 Baseball Mega Thread

At what point do we start determining whether Coach Smith is incapable of improving the program? Five seasons in, I'd like to actually have some hope, but it isn't there.

Re: 2021 Baseball Mega Thread

This is some of the worst coverage I’ve ever seen. Picking up Randy from the corner to call the game probably wasn’t the best idea.

My favorite spot was Flipside for the deep dish pizzas. 2 for $5 individual pizzas on Wednesdays. I frequented a number of other places, but it appears they've all been mentioned.

There needs to be a huge gut check at halftime, but I don’t know if Clark has it in him to hold anyone accountable including himself.

This offense is painful to watch. The “vanilla” offense thing isn’t a strategic play. That’s literally the offense.

Coming into this game we knew they had a dynamic offense and good run defense. What is our game plan....
Hope they have a bad day? We never seem to have one.

Horrible 1st and goal call.
Set the stage for the two that everyone in Boone knew were coming next too.

Uninspired on both sides of the ball so far for us. Plenty left to play. Lets see if they bounce back like they should.
That’s the story of the Clark era, so far. There’s a level of comfortability with subpar play that bothers me with this entire team.
