Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Doesn’t belong here but I’m not starting a new thread. Saw this on my FB and thought some of y’all might be interested. Re: Game Thread - MBB @ Charlotte - Fri. Dec 2nd, 2022
To get back to where we were before our wonderful AD blew it all up we have to handle Sunbelt teams easier than we have been the last 15 years. About to get a lot tougher for us with Memphis as top dog. I expected to see a lot of back door cuts after hearing y’all worried about it as that is the sta...

Re: Game Thread - MBB @ Charlotte - Fri. Dec 2nd, 2022
Great game tonight fellas. Mantis was insane there for awhile. As for the crowd - anytime we have an instate school the crowd is better, Y’all, ECU or when we can talk Wake into it. Also always get more visiting fans. The bigger reason though is beating Davidson on Tuesday and the nature of that win...

Re: The UNCC Game Thread
Congrats on the win. Feel like neither team played well. Really not happy with some of our play calling but y’all put it on us no doubt. Y’all are still the best program in the state. Good luck rest of the way!

Just checking in! Looking forward to Saturday! Am firing up a tailgate in my front yard since I can’t roll up to Boone. Win or lose I’m just glad we are playing. Read about eligibility talk in the thread. Assuming it is like the spring athletes the schools are given the option to allow athletes to r...

Re: Everts no confidence is approved
I think Chapel Hill and State know their dominance over higher education in this state is coming to an end and they are just holding on to the past as long as they can. App with its popularity and unique experience in Boone and a Charlotte being in a major growing city with money are rising and they...

Re: Everts no confidence is approved
The BoG is fine IMO. What we need is more diverse representation on the BoG and stop it from being the Chapel Hill/State party that is has been over the years. I know for a fact part of the reason UNC Charlotte opted for extreme growth and large size was to make it more difficult for the BoG and Leg...

I know I am a visitor here but this thread reminded me of the time I had a dream about being a muffler.
I woke up exhausted.

Re: App/CLT part 3
FYI NWA this isn't all a negative balance. A large portion of this is transfers to the AD of $$ owed for our larger concessions (run by App food services) and merch purchased by our much larger fanbase. To be honest I don't what all the $$ in school funds accounts for, but this is a large chunk. Th...

Re: App/CLT part 3
If you want to show the stats then show the total picture. Here are the numbers from 2012 to last year. I picked 2012 because that is about the time our football stuff really started cranking up. As for student fees, our respective fee amounts are very comparable. We raise more because we have 10,00...

Re: App/CLT part 3
OOC Game TV coverage typically falls upon the home team to line up. Nice dig though. That was awesome.

Re: App/CLT part 3
Thanks - I’m guessing if no fans are there no tailgating will be allowed. Just wasn’t sure how strict Boone was with that.
All of our tailgating is on campus of course and I’ve been told that will get shut down if we don’t have fans permitted in the game.

Re: App/CLT part 3
Back to game talk... for any of y’all in Boone right now, if I came up Gameday and tailgated regardless of game tickets, would the city of Boone shut that down?

Re: App/CLT part 3
I agree and my gut says King Cooper will decree another 2-4 weeks of phase 2. He is a Governor and not a King. He does some some latitude to make these decisions. The one lawsuit I know of that was trying to take Cooper down was shot down by the judge well enough that the person bringing the lawsuit...

Re: App/CLT part 3
FWIW I contacted our AD about the away tickets to the game and was told nothing is being released yet. Did not sound too promising about having any fans there.

Re: App/CLT part 3
We just announced no fans for our game against Ga State about the same time we went to online classes until 10/1. Any word on fan attendance up there?
