Re: UCF big win for g5

Until we field a team with enough talent and depth to beat the strongest P5 programs in a playoff format I won't be losing any sleep for the G5s that think they can, or possibly could have. I don't think we are a shoo in to win next year's SBC championship game, or even the eastern division, or eith...

Re: UCF big win for g5

There will be no change that does not further benefit the P5s more than the existing CFP does.

I can assure you, we didn't need any advantage Grady Davis provided. This shit is so childish.

A lot of positive reinforcement and praising... not enough yelling and attitude for me... at least from that clip
I will pass that along to Scott for you. Anything else?
Can you also make sure he doesn't allow the players to hydrate?
Will do ;)

Certainly agree about Scott's hiring ability but I don't think he would make a hire without input from the Coordinator, whoever it may be. That's why it makes sense that the DC will either still be Woody or someone else Scott has already chosen but hasn't been able to announce.
This makes sense.

Power rankings I would agree putting App in the top 10, but full resume for a season I couldn't justify it.
Who else would you put ahead of us?
Army
Well, that would drop us to 10. Still looking for your point. What is it?

Re: UCF big win for g5

Until there is a real FBS playoff with ar least all 10 conference champs like every other sport at any level, they might as well just pick the champ by a poll like the old days. And lose revenue from the the CFP title game? I don't think so. That would not help us either with less CFP pie scraps be...

Re: Will Lamb Go Pro?

I think Lamb will absolutely participate in pro day...he may even get into an nfl camp. I think he has a shot on some pro level...maybe cfl....probably not though.....whatever he does, he's a winner. He will be a GA somewhere. Doubt he would even participate in a pro day I would be disappointed if ...

appstatealum, as was mentioned, Taylor was not a FCS recruit. He was on his was to the Sun Belt USA Jags, until he changed his mind and decided on App. I can't think of a game we lost because of TL, but I sure do think he was critical to us winning some we otherwise might not have. I will join you i...

It’d be smart to clarify which fox in your initial post so that people don’t get confused for our Fox like me.
Good point, but there's Jim and there's John, and neither are mentioned in the thread's title.
Those that get it will understand.

Fox not likely to return:

IMO, he was given more than chances than he deserved. Have another sip of water John, and enjoy your belated retirement!

Has it been confirmed that he is gone or is it just us that has him gone. Honest question.
Word is all he has to do is pass a background check. If he fails that I seriously doubt he will have a job in Boone much longer. He's gone.

Re: Belk Bowl

Wake gets away with a PI in the last minute of a tight game (feels familiar), but this time no makeup call the next play. If that receiver had not been touched it would have still been a heckuva grab for him bring that ball in. It may have been a make up call for one they missed earlier where a Wak...

Re: Belk Bowl

I'm still convinced that if we would have beaten Wake Forest, we would have gone undefeated the rest of the way and finished ranked inside the top 10/15 with our only loss coming at the hands of a highly ranked UGA team on the road and in the first game of the season. That Wake Forest game had the ...
