I would make a comment about the shirt and its model, but it would risk being called homophobic. ;)
You did, and maybe you are. I don't know or care.

Re: App publicity...

Natty, my question is ... how did you find this? Women's Wear Daily is not on my normal list of online sites I visit. Not judging, just curious. :-) Maybe any licensing revenue could go straight to a scholly fund for our Apparel Design students. Google news alerts maybe. That's how it came to my at...

Re: Help Finding Lapel Pin

Hey guys, anyone know where I can find an App State block A lapel pin online? The same pin the athletic players and coaches wear. PM me your mailing address and it will be like Christmas in July . You beat me to it. I have a FCS champions three peat one anyone can have if they want it. I would hold...

Re: RIP: Richard Harrison (Pawn Stars)

I think we should only have one Obit thread. Where was the mourning for Anthony Bourdain? Where is the mourning for the 22 vets that commit suicide a day? It gets old seeing a new obit thread nearly every day. People die. Trust me, I know. With you on Anthony. Feeling a loss. Still I am not convinc...

Do we really need a separate thread for every single celebrity death? Wouldn't it get annoying and cluttered if we did?
I am sorry for your loss, but it just does not resonate with me. I find it disrespectful to borrow from others on these matters. No big deal either way.

RIP as well to Vincent Paul "Vinnie Paul" Abbott of Pantera, Damage Plan, and HELLYEAH. He died at 54 on Friday. Examiners haven't released an official cause of death but they're calling it a "massive heart attack" in his sleep. It's well known that even at his age he still enjoyed the rock and rol...

Re: 3 new bowl games? Myrte Beach may be one.

The money is a myth argument at a certain point. This "everybody gets a ribbon".. sort of deal, just ruins what should be a reward for teams with a strong winning record. I'm sorry, I'm just old school on this. I understand where you are coming from on this. I grew up when a ribbon, a medal, or a t...

Slooooooow. My guess is a UNCC hack.
Surely they would be smart enough to hack it in early September. Maybe not.

Yep, it has been slow to load for me for what seems like a while now. That seems strange during what I assume is not peak usage season. Perhaps we need a website S & C coordinator to get this thing ready for fall.

My son marched Spirit...lost at least 40 lbs every summer. Came home and challenged the football players to a fitness contest... he won every time! Phantom is more intense! Love them! My son marched in Spirit last year. He was not out of shape when he joined, but came home in superb shape. He expla...

Re: Sunbelt Bowl Schedule Announced

Speaking of PC police, I just heard there is a petition going around at George Washington University to change their mascot from The Colonials to The Hippos. Why? Because, the name Colonials may be offensive to international students. Un-Damn-Believable!! KMA Well that’s understandable. Hippos are ...

Before we get all cocky...we are playing a decent defensive team (10 starters) in Charlotte after the trip to Happy Valley with our QB making his 2nd start. Upsets happen.

UNCC plays Gardner Webb and UMass next year and a CUSA schedule, only takes six wins to go bowling, pretty low bar.
They won't beat UMass, and GW won't be a cupcake for them.

Tripp finished in 2nd, pretty good showing for him!
If he finished in 2nd overall that's a tremendous accomplishment for a High Country golfer competing against Sun Belt competition.

I have watched coverage on facebook of the tournament and although the commentator has said we are tied for 5th, two strokes out of 4th place for the past 20 minutes and have yet to see any App golfer. Re: Orlando Sentinel

Still, it's disrespectful to App to compare UNCC's football birth, infancy and early toddler days in FCS to a storied program such as ours. That's apples and oranges. How would you compare the other recent programs (e.g. GSU, ODU & UTSA) to UNCC? That seems more apples to apples. I agree. They are ...
