Re: From Inside KBS
There are 8 people? How about people begin to take Shawn Clark's advice, "scared money don't make no money". 8 people isn't enough people to run a small transportation firm much less an organization hoping to garner enough donations to cover in full all athletic scholarships. Are they relying on pe...

Re: From Inside KBS
I think the Yosef Club would benefit by becoming a separate legal non-profit legal entity. Most major Universities this is how they are set up. Allows for more flexibility and nimbleness.
Along these same lines, I think Alumni Chapters should explore this as well.

Re: From Inside KBS
Now, is the time for a really solid Marketing and Promotions Team to be formed. I'd be willing to consider joining an App marketing and promotions staff member a a full-time employee. And it needs to be a culture or rivals, not people who say yes all the time. There's needs to be more carrots for p...

Re: From Inside KBS
DG loves Boone and App State. There's a reason he didn't go to Cincy and it wasn't all money related. He wants to be here. But, at the same time, realizes there's a cap for success for all athletic programs with the limited funding. At the end of the day, Yosef Club needs to grow. If everyone on th...

Re: NEZ work today
I'd hope that 1M donation will make a dent in our future expansion and renovation efforts one way or another. That is for current construction, not future. We don’t have enough funding currently to build out the NEZ to the level /“luxuries” wanted. Further as of the last Yosef tour, it was $2M to r...

Re: Bowl TV Ratings
What we have today is nothing but a big participation trophy exercise. Bowl game are to be rewarding. There is nothing to reward for going 6-6. Great job, you are mediocre! Congratulations! Let’s Celebrate! With the addition of a 12th regular season game for everyone, the criteria should be c...

Cary Ale House should most definitely have ESPN+. They had it all of last season and for our other games this year. I am affiliated with the Chapter and will relay to the board. Something sounds amiss.

Re: I've put it off long enough
I just made the switch from DirecTvNOW/AT&TvNOW with ESPN+ this weekend after receiving a similar price increase notification coupled with the removal of some channels. Was pushing $70 after the increase. I am now with YoutubeTV and the disney+ bundle (Disney/hulu/espn+). All in for less than $65 an...

Re: NCAA Votes to Allow Athletes to Cash in on their fame
I am curious how this and title IX coexist. I am also curious how the NCAA plans to keep HS recruiting from turning into endorsement contract negotiations with deep pocket donors &/or the major shoe brands. Don't think it will affect Title IX since the university is not going to be the entity payin...

Re: College Gameday
On the Fox Sports Gameday, Urban Meyer challenged that he wondered how we would do if we had to play a D1 schedule. Basically taking a dump on our schedule and conference. Not great. Urban Meyer is a douchebag and a despicable human being. He will forever be linked to aaron hernandez. Happy to reap...

Re: How do we keep Drinkwitz!?!?
IIRC, it wasn’t too long ago stAte had 4 HC’s in 4 seasons.
Donating and giving more won’t fend off deep P5 pockets, but keeping other G5’s at bay is within reach and doable.

Re: How do we keep Drinkwitz!?!?
I know we’ve got some time. This team was built by coaches that are over at Louisville now. However, Drinkwitz and his staff are doing a damn good job building on what was inherited. If Drinkwitz can recruit as good as he can coach, offers are going to be flying in! My hopes are that Drinkwitz is l...

Re: How do we keep Drinkwitz!?!?
Donate, Donate, Donate & buy Season tickets. Once we annually fund Scholarships & faster we pay for facilities, $ can start going towards salaries and Endowments. As Drink said during Yosef Tour, He is happy to be the tip of the spear, but it’s gonna take all of us pushing. The tip of spear just mad...

Re: Top 25 Watch (real thread)
Great comeback by SMU. Great teams find a way to win when they play poorly and that’s what the ponies just did. Also thanks for nothing Tulsa. Tulsa did not hurt or help us with their loss. We will be ranked when we deserve it in the eyes of voters. Missouri and Baylor deserve to be ranked over us ...

Re: Bowl Projections
My guess is they see Jan 6th and think that is the most prestigious bowl game for SBC. They likely don’t know about the NO bowl tie in with conf champion. I know if we were not in the SBC, that is what I’d think. The later in the year the more significant the bowl.
