Re: Another Portal Loss and Portal Discussion
QB is the one position group that I see improving across DI football due to the transfer portal. While we aren't holding onto our backup QBs neither is anyone else. Those 4* to high 3* QBs that used to sit on P5 rosters and hope to play as a Redshirt Jr or Sr are now transferring down for playing ti...

Agree plus I'd add Marshall.
Honestly, I live in the Triangle area and have never met anyone in person that claims to be a UNCC fan. Not kidding. They just aren't on my radar at all.

Re: New D-Line coach (Football Scoop)
So who's coaching the ILBs? Looks like Lockwood coached LBs in '05-'06 when he was at Minnesota - I didn't see anything in Sloan's background with LBs

Re: Possible transfer situations
With the exception of lack of Oline talent brought in this class they appear to be addressing need and class balance. That's the major concern , at this point anyway. I’m not concerned about the first 7. 8-10 need to step up though. This is where I'm hoping our S&C hire makes a difference.

Re: Here we go again...Looks like the OC is out
Screw this administration. They cut the football coaching salaries and this is the never ending shit that happens. Everts and Gillin can kick rocks. I said what I said. We need leadership who is committed to elevating our school and athletic department. We once had that but don't anymore I thought ...

Re: GAME THREAD - UC Santa Barbara, Weds 12/21 6pm
yea kinda rough...but lets see how the conference season pans out...i try not to complain about Kearns...we had like 9 or 10 straight losing seasons then he comes in and we at least ending our seasons with winning records...12-6 last year in conference...would be great to do something similar this ...

Re: SunBelt Players of the week
I can see the improvement in our defense (although we are a little banged up right now). I also think people will see that Troy win in a much better light by the end of the season. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the SBC Championship game.

Best one I've come across for G5 football. So far I've listened to their Sun Belt preview and the Clark interview. Plan to check out their other previews.

Re: Our Boy Eric Church
Luke being there doesn't bother me, he's been forward and very public about his love for App . I'm all App and don't have a #2. But, I understand there are many of us who are App first and continue to root for the team they grew up pulling for as well. We have to admit there's not a lot of App fans ...

Re: Ponce going to Miami
IMO it wouldn’t be a bad idea to see if Taylor Lamb would return as QB coach/co-coordinator with Watts being the OC/primary playcaller and staying the TE coach. Based off his Twitter activity he seems very content, excited, and happy to be in Charlottesville at the moment. I doubt he'd wanted to te...

If you move Watts to OC, which I’m not disagreeing with. Who becomes the Recruiting Coordinator? Does the recruiting coordinator need to b...

Re: AAC just lost their big 3
Looking at the SI article - I just don't see why a MWC school would leave for the AAC, they just surpassed the AAC by UCF, Houston and Cincy leaving. If anything the MWC may even look at adding SMU. Also, If I'm Navy - I'm seriously considering going Independent again in Football. There are two rea...

Re: AAC just lost their big 3
Somebody convince me that Marshall is a good add for the Sun Belt. And please don’t say we were once in a conference together. I see the Sun Belt as a Group of Five (football) power. Thus, Marshall would be a good fit. Otherwise, I see your point. Yep, that's really the only argument needed - good ...

If they have handicapped tags, you can park in that lot so they can take the shuttle right to the east side of the stadium.

Re: CFN prediction ECU vs ASU
Perhaps I just don't have enough respect for ECU (I don't!) but I just don't see them consistently scoring on our defense. And that is why I don't think it will be that close of a game. I am sure our offense will have some growing pains with several new offensive linemen and a new QB, but I have ze...
