Official Curtiss P-40 prediction thread
Let’s call it a hurdle cleared. Zac Thomas sure looked he was surpassing the last obstacle of the evening when he pranced over the goal line to silence all the Louisiana ladies in attendance on Wednesday night. A big conference road win was secured with bookend plays by the Mountaineers that summed ...

Seems like it has been forever since App State football has been considered an underdog in a conference game. It’s been so long that most of us are not even sure how to think about it, or even what it felt like since the last time it happened. When was it? It wasn’t November 12th, 2016 when App play...

Typically, after the Super Bowl is played, the season is over. Well, lets just say, most of the non-conference schedule over. As much fun as last week was, it will not amount to a Chapel Hill of beans if the Mountaineers do not keep the train rolling. It’s perfect timing that a conference opponent c...

So, we have a big football game on our hands? Is that what people are telling me? Last I checked, it’s still September. Hard to have a big game this early in the season. Important games are usually slated for December, or late October against some school from south Georgia. Rings and trophies are ab...

The long awaited debut of the new coaching staff is now behind us. The 2019 opener played out exactly how it should have. The home team was happy with a big win and the weather was fantastic. That makes for a really solid day in Boone. We don’t ask for much around here. It’s going to rain in Boone, ...

After an offseason of quotable quotes in the media and instagram stories from Willow Valley, it’s finally time to see what new head coach Eliah Drinkwitz can do in Boone. We have all been lucky. We have not done this that often. A new football coach. For this particular corner of the internet, it’s ...

Ethan Joyce released 10 names of *potential* candidates, or people he thinks we should call. Well 9, and our beloved Matt McMahon (who we all want, but also know he ain’t coming). Most of these names have been mentioned here. 1. Tim Craft (G-W) 2. Bart Lundy (Queens) 3. Kevin McGeehan (Campbell) 4....

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
Fantastic run by this team. The Sun Belt gets what it wants, the higher seeded teams to rest and play someone who has played three nights in a row. This squad loses just two seniors, one a major contributor in Madi Story who cemented her place in App Basketball history with that buzzer beater. That ...

Tough night, but we hung around and kept the game within reach. Still encouraging. Our pitchers battled.

Re: App BB v. Manhattan Jaspers (1-2) Fri. thru Sun. Smith Stadium
Every now and again, the other team does well. We couldn't touch their lefty in Game 3. He went 6.2 IP with 8 K's and our hitting was too little too late. Didn't feel like a loss. Left encouraged.

Apps win 5-2. Another game using only 3 arms. Meanwhile, Tennessee is rolling.

Re: Georgia State 2/21 Gamethread
Tough loss to a good Georgia St team. Fought hard but as mentioned started soft and that sequence to end game was tough to swallow. Really need to beat GSU if we still want a shot at Sunbelt tournament. Saturday is a big day because of the other bottom teams that also play each other. Little Rock @...

Re: Jalin Moore status senior bowl
Does anyone have an update on Jalin? The Senior Bowl is now less than 2 weeks away... Haven't seen anything to suggest he will not play yet and I check the Senior Bowl twitter regularly. There have been no late adds at running back. Jalin has been left off the Senior Bowl roster. He was not medical...
