Re: UNCC - 6:00pm

I know it wasn't completely UNCC's decision for this kickoff, but I am sure they had some input. Not sure they know what they are getting into. Its gonna get ugly.

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

Question for those of you who still live in Boone and spend time on campus...What's currently going on at the Quinn (or whatever it's called now)? With the SRC, athletic training facilities in the press facility and the indoor training facility, is it still heavily used by athletic teams? Could it ...

Re: Schmid drafted in 13th round

Is money enough? Probably. Question is what does another year do? Could improve or could get hurt. Take it while you can and go back to school later.

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

The problem with most of our existing dorms is that they can’t be reconfigured and modernized to compete with newly constructed dorms. It would be nice if they could open the green space to face the stadium so it could be utilized for tailgating like the current Duck Pond field. I'm not even sure a...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

Enjoy these last few seasons in what is currently tailgating in stadium lot for those that do. Parking lots and areas have been moved away from the line of sight in exchange for a boxed in green space/quad. Looking forward to the major snows and lack of sunlight that green space will receive in the ...

Re: Radical Sun Belt Hoops schedule proposal

Conference USA also thought media marketz were the best way to expand into college football. We have seen how that has turned out as well. Playing to this pod idea, and attempting to improve RPI will just lead to new and improved metrics to determine quality at large teams' consideration for the NCA...

I remember something about him coming up to Boone and supporting himself by working at Hardee's until he earned his scholarship or something? He was a disciplined kid with drive...loved watching him play.
Believe it was Bojangles.

Any Yosef volunteers (Daphne?) know how many reserved and GA seats UNCC gave our ticket office?
I heard 1200 reserved.

On a scale of 1-10 how bad was the call that sent Kermit to the locker room room early. I would put it at 11. Terrible call. The home plate ump missed it, and he realized it and that's why he let Kermit say his piece. The issue is the 3rd base ump, who tossed Kermit behind his back, and then threw ...

Fox has admitted to making some mistakes on the recruiting trail. Every new coach will do it. Had he been a 20 year head coach, that would be one thing, but that is not what we are talking about.

Re: BB and SB in Boone 6-8 April 2018

Forecast has come off the snow for Saturday, but a wet day is coming. Our chance for three games is playing earlier on Friday and start an 11am, or earlier, DH on Sunday. Earlier on Friday has happened, first pitch moved to 3pm instead of 6pm. Saturday has a late 3pm start, so possibility of a DH b...
