Re: CFN Picks App to win SBC

I would certainly take Duck back starting at DB this season if I had a choice as well as returning punts.

Re: Improving a tradition

Doug, I’m going to tell you a few things about myself just so you know that I’m a serious fan who’s big on our football traditions. I’m a 1988 graduate, I’ve been on the turf at KBS in uniform and I haven’t missed a home game in 13 years. I have those 7, yes 7, home dates on my calendar for 2019 an...

Re: Kendall Lamm

I wish the Falcons had signed Kendall as they could certainly use the OL help. Going to the Browns is probably a great thing for him as they improved immensely last year and have made some bold moves this off season. They will be in the playoff hunt rather than a cellar dweller this year. Congrats K...

I couldn't be prouder of this team. Win or lose today they have made an impression in the Belt and are positioned to continue to improve going forward.

Guess we should wait and see IF we get a new coach. Maybe Angel wants to move across the hall......

Coach Ware will certainly help with recruiting in NC. I expect he is well known and well thought of in the NC high school ranks.

Re: Early 2019 S&P+ Rankings

Agree. For years we have rationalized losing to the P5 teams by saying that we got them on their way up. We know how close we came with PSU, UT and Wake. A break here or there and we take them all...but. Now we get a down UNC team and a middle of the road USC team. If we are truly a legit top 25 te...

Damn another heartbreaker. Give the Apps credit that they are fighting to the bitter end. Great effort against a good team on the road.

I hate it but so is the life of a G5 program. I trust Drink has his rolodex and phone on speed dial.

I just re-upped on line today. Please contact all your App contacts and ask them to join. They don't have to donate a lot and Clemson has shown with IPTAY that a lot of small donations can go a long way.

Re: Best Live Music Performance

My Favorites: -1968 - Rolling Stones with Little Stevie Wonder as opening act at Charlotte Coliseum ( I think that's what it was called). (my first BIG concert) -1972 - Deep Purple at Charlotte Park Center with Nazareth and Ted Nugent (I think). This Purple show was my favorite show ever, period. Ba...

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread

This thread is something! Gotta say I am enjoying the memories shared and as a student in the mid to late 80s I recall some of the same ones. 3 hot dogs for a buck was a staple for us back then. As far as the BI is concerned, my favorite line was written on the wall of a bathrooms stall on the 4th ...

Re: Junior Adams

I don't blame Coach Adams for following the money to P5. Face it, most of these position coaches are like nomads shifting from place to place at no fault of their own. Every time there is a Head Coach or Coordinator change, lots of these guys get changed out. It is a very tough way to make a living ...
