Re: Recommendations Please!

I think my daughter used Alray once or twice. They may or may not be a little bit more expensive than other shops. They do support App it seems, so there is that. When she worked at Children's Playhouse she took advantage of the fact AJ's Tire and Auto is right beside the Playhouse and she spoke hig...

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

I think we're stuck with those camera angles for, well, as long as we have the Athletics Complex. It doesn't bother me as much as, I guess, it bothers others. I agree with you that with modern cameras I am sure a zoom is not a big deal and maintain good resolution. I would rather have the camera up...

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

I thought our lighting was better than in the past. Maybe ESPN adjusted the cameras better than in the past, but it looked brighter, and the “X” shadows were less prominent. I noticed that as well and that was one thing that had me looking at the camera work as camera angles and such has been a poi...

Re: Arkansas St vs. ASU Game Thread

Here is what I was not impressed with. The camera work for an ESPN mothership production I thought it was a bit lacking. A few bad cuts on angle changes but more so just shaky camera and bad choice of angle. Maybe it was just me and I am rarely critical of things like this but for some reason I ende...

Re: 2021 QB

Off topic but radio guys said Cole Garrison was accepted to medical school at UAB. First off congratulations to him and secondly would he be eligible to play for them next year since this is a "throwaway " year. He will have exactly no time to do anything except study during his first 2 years of me...

David Byrne's American Utopia

The David Byrne American Utopia show on HBO and HBO is great.

If you have access to HBO you need to give it a watch.

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St

The challenge, for the 2100 who are there, is going to be can we get the APP....STATE... chant going loud enough to be heard on ESPN. I think we can! Screw Yosef Club points and standing, tickets should be allocated on lung capacity and decibel range of one's voice based on the level of sound incid...

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St

Last year I clearly remember the total Yosef Club members/donors exceeded 11,000. This year the ranking indicate there are approx. 3641 donors. Did this many people withhold their donation this year because of COVID and possibly job loss or some other financial hardship... I think the 11K - 12K Yos...

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St

Of course that’s part of it. But you aren’t considering people go to games in groups of 3-6? My family of four would be allocated 72 feet of space. Proves 7% was put together with poor assumptions and /or by someone that doesn’t understand math or the science they claim to follow. ..." I don't thin...

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St

Of course people will be able to sit together. They rode in the car together for 60-200 minutes. That’s part of my point. We forget how to use math and science at times. Is this in reference to your own units seeming to be confusing. I only saw this post after my longer post a few posts above.

Re: Ticket Allocation: App vs Ark St

By my calculation there is <38,000 linear feet of seating which means there will be 18 feet of seating per individual. But I hear we have Mandy on retainer to help us. Are you considering having some space for rows in front and behind? Social distance is not just horizontal along a row in a stadium.

Re: Down Goes Justice

Like above, I had to see Justice and envy your large rooms as I sat in my closet sized room in Gardner. Had a few buddies that lived there. Campus is almost unrecognizable at this point. Ps loved my sink when I moved to Frank the next year. Pissed in it countless times. Moved from Bowie to Frank 10...

The Great Mountaineer Pumpkin

My wife found a terracotta pumpkin with a block "A" at Bryant's Hardware and Landscape on Wendover in Greensboro. It was the only one they had at the time but for those in the Greensboro area I wanted to mention this.

They may or may not be able to get more if you ask.

It is not just football. ULM tends to bring up the bottom of the Bubas Cup year-in year-out.
