Re: Tax Free NIL
It's amazing how far the greed goes around college football that governments are stepping in to give their schools an edge. I feel like there will be lawsuits against this somehow. Nuts. Pro sports it is. Student athlete is gone.

Re: App Sports Network
I would probably buy a low level sub for non football sports.
Tennis, volleyball, socc3r, field hockey, etc. I dont even need announcers, just slap one of those nice rotating cameras up on a pole at each field.

Re: UCLA football
All this speculation is entertaining. I know which P he will move 4. UT gets him closer to that P he is playing 4 as well as a nice paycheck to get his post college life started. Good luck to him. I'll ha e to hear it from the inlaws if he screws up. https://www.wvlt.tv/2025/04/21/ucla-quarterback-t...

Looking for eligibility time limits to go away. So basically trying to become the USFL in that they want to become the NFL lite. SMH. Yep, as soon as they start sharing revenue they would in their become employees. This means they can't be discriminated against due to age or anything of the sort. T...

There should be a mandatory ceremony at duck pond. Baptism by Yosef. A mountain jug to pour the cleansing waters over their heads.PhillyApp1 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 2:38 pmHe took a bath, scubbed, took good advice, and stayed at Marriott express !

Re: NC senate budget
Not to shift the discussion but I’ve often wondered why we don’t just institute a national lottery. People scream and yell about paying taxes but just imagine the revenue if say, 50 million people per week spent $1 on a ticket. The winnings could be multiple. It’s like a shot at getting your tax mo...

Re: NC senate budget
Just some food for thought with revenue sharing. If schools begin to pay out to athletes directly from revenue sharing as employees they will be under labor laws of discrimination. That would mean in order to comply, eligibility based on age/years active would be illegal. All they could do at that p...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
After Cali and IRS he is estimated to get 822k of that 1.75 mil that was thrown around earlier. If UCLA went lower then he might make 700k maybe. Ouch. Biggest fumble of the portal era so far.

Re: Another domino has fallen NIL
It's circulating that Nico is heading to UNC for less than the 4 mil he wants. We are going to truly find out if Belichic can coach a headcase QB worth a crap. I haven't seen anything official though. W3 shall see. The Tarhill Wire is saying it's a high possibility. https://x.com/No3sports/status/1...

Re: Another domino has fallen NIL
Apparently the Oregon coach called up TN and told them Nico was fishing around for better deals behind TN back. Since this is free agency by a different name, they just need to adopt pro rules and move on.

Re: Another domino has fallen NIL
How this shakes out will be interesting. A player holding out of practice while they negotiate his contract. https://x.com/PeteThamel/status/1910715080968122743?t=0HGp4PStAbjGEPdU0l_UFQ&s=19 The Vols should tell Nico to walk. I’m having a hard time understanding this. He can’t really have a contrac...

Interesting take/survey from coaches on what player salaries are going to land in.
