Re: The UNCC Game Thread
Congratulations on the win. My Niners didn't show up to play today, so I hope we get better.

Re: Schedule
Huge win for UNC-Concord. They are trying to gain notoriety and respect so they add Duke, UNC and a top 25 team from last year. No need to pat them on the back for adding us. Its totally a bigger win for them than it is us. Its not like we are switching out UMASS for the commuter school. We are rep...

CLT at App on 9/12. https://twitter.com/i/status/1293688994669178881 So if we can get past the KBS is the best stadium in the world, and Boone is better than Concord stuff just for a minute, I wonder why we are playing in Boone? Unlike us, our ADs are professionals and there had to be some quid pro ...

Re: a new pre-season top 25 without the Big 10 and Pac 12
Well look at the bright side, you can't drop out of the top 25 until you play a game, and for those team that do play, some will lose. You may move up between now and October 7 without ever taking the field.

We are hearing the CLT-App will play on 9/12. Stay tuned for details. Don't recall us ever playing an airport. Do you mean UNCC? You need to up your game Ballentyne. think the rebranders missed on this Nug! Rolling out a new brand is always dicey, as you guys well know, and there has not been unive...

I didn't think there were enough people in McLeansville to host a good protest. Did you have to bring in some interlopers from Whitsett?McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 7:38 pmThe numbers at protests and rallies that I support have mostly had masks on.

Re: Schedule
Not sure about Tenn., but Va Tech at Bristol would not work. I believe that ACC scheduling requires that the game be played in Virginia. I believe you are correct about the ACC requiring in-state play for OOC games. At this point it doesn't matter, because VA Tech has already booked Liberty. The SE...

Re: UNCC getting motivated
Well since they have only 1 alumnus who got drafted but hasn’t suited up yet I think it’s nice that those guys said hello. Those fellas gonna hate social distancing in Club Lit. To be perfectly fair to those guys they had Larry Ogunjobi drafted in the third round in 2017 and pretty darn good. Also ...

Re: Who stays, who goes?
I am a little surprised that you guys think 3-6 current assistants would stay. That is about half the staff. Unless someone already at App gets the HC job I would have guessed they would bring in their own people. Of course there is the argument that you don't mess with what is already working, but...

Re: Our Next Head Mountaineer
Guys, like you, I enjoy the mutual disgust we have for each other's program and look forward to that continuing. However, if I can be a grown up for just a minute, Charlotte's success is mostly independent of App's and vice-versa. Sure, we will compete for some of the same recruits, but there are en...

Re: HUGE home game vs in state opponent this week
I’m rolling up to Boone. Looking forward to it. We gave y’all more of a game than expected in football so maybe y’all can give us a game here. After beating more talented teams in Davidson and Wake we are feeling good but we have a young team and going on the road into a fairly stale environment so...

Lambert was our last coach, Healy is the new one.
I think the rest of your post is pretty spot on. We are going to beat some teams this year--Clemson isn't one of them. I think we will be in good company in that respect.

Using Jerry Moore's and Scott Satterfield's success to predict what Drinkwitz will do makes no sense, but it does make you feel better, so you do you.

Re: Proof Sun Belt is rising among G5
C-USA took WKU, MTSU, NT and FAU before App was in the Sun Belt. I guess if you want to endorse this article as valid, you also have to take this too. SP+ is not (yet) programmed to take coaching changes into account, so the view of Appalachian State is as if Scott Satterfield were still in charge t...
