Re: Apps Seek 1st Road Win
The swamp scene on the floor is not nearly as ugly as the play on the floor. Painful 1st half to watch. Almost as many turnovers as points.

Re: App vs Iowa St
On a negative note way too many three pointers and defense was not good. On a positive note we found another scorer other than Shabazz in Forrest. If this team could learn to play defense and attack the basket more they could make some noise in the Sunbelt.

Re: MOUNTAIN MEN vs. MINUTEMEN!!!!!
One of the most interesting things about this board. App wins and there may be a 5-7 page thread by this time. App loses and we are already at 11 pages and counting.

Re: MOUNTAIN MEN vs. MINUTEMEN!!!!!
I certainly understand the disappointment as I am sure all App fans are disappointed. However, lets not jump off a bridge. First off this was not a sunbelt game and secondly UMASS is better than their record suggests. Just look at the number of close games they had as they could easily be a winning ...

http://umassathletics.com/news/2017/8/11/umass-football-unveils-tv-partnership-with-eleven-sports-network.aspx Article states the following: In order to provide numerous platforms for fans to follow the team this season, all six games airing live via Eleven Sports and NESN family of networks will al...

Re: Struggling with the worst team in the entire nation????
I rarely post on this board and usually I just pop in to read the threads. I of course opened this one after reading the title and proceeded to read the comments (many of which were negative). It is amazing to see the negativity towards a football program that since 2015 is 24-2 against peer G5 comp...

Re: Hot in San Marcos
I live in central Texas very close to San Marcos. 94 is fall weather here. Nice and cool! Honestly, the last couple weeks have been cooler and it is noticeable. We are accustomed to consistent 100+ days in June/July/August.

Re: Beer in KBS
Went to the UL-Lafayette game and purchased a beer. Logistically, it worked fine. Essentially, the concession stand serving ID'ed those purchasing alcohol and provided an arm bracelet. Honestly, while I was in the stadium I didn't witness anyone that was overly intoxicated.

Re: Give Satterfield a ten year extension and a raise
I don't think it's silly to hold a head coach accountable for the performance of a program. College Head Football coaches make a lot of money and have culpability when it comes to the product on the field. I will be the first to say that the team looked much more prepared today and will give credit ...

I think the time has come for Satterfield to stop with the excuses for under performance. At the end of the day the buck stops with him.

Satterfield needs to be let go or resign. He is simply not earning his salary by his performance, period.

Scott, why are you robbing our beloved university of 400K in salary rather than earning it?

I am not so sure we are FCS middle of the pack. I think it is in everyone's best interest to prepare to lose to a Big South team next week.

I am normally pretty positive and don't post much. However, this football team and coaching really leaves a lot to be desired. It is almost as if they don't care if they lose, coaches included.
