Re: IT'S BOWL WEEK!

Corey Sutton’s toe drag, and the reaction from the fans after the replay when they realized he had indeed made an amazing play.

Re: Great Article on replacement options

Everyone is going to say culture but that’s a list of 10 guys that literally no one else wants as a head coach, granted Elliot at GSU. I just don’t understand the need to box ourselves into these mediocre, at best, candidates. Tim Horton seems like the best fit. He recruits the south and has a grea...

Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue

Sorry, 94. I shouldn't have been so vague. It was directed at the folks (yourself included) who think we have a snowball's chance of keeping Satterfield in Boone while schools like Louisville are throwing Monopoly money at him. To be more direct, Satterfield decided to leave App the moment he hired ...

Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue

I’m not saying that he doesn’t listen, he would be a fool not to. But just because he listens doesn’t mean that he is gone. Look, Louisville wasn’t attractive enough to bring home their favorite son, so what makes you think that it would be attractive enough to lure our favorite son away? And don’t...

Re: Beat Texas State!!

I suspect we'll limit Thomas' carries, for obvious reasons. In the past when we've done that, our running game has struggled because it becomes too predictable. As a counterbalance, we're going to need to get our passing game back in gear.

Stephon Brown will not play this season. There’s no point in wasting your time speculating on why he should.

Re: Official Tommy La Stella prediction thread

Not doubting the defense, but they can not stay on the field the whole game and win. Offense has to be effective and clicking. You are dead on with that one. That’s what I meant by “being put in a tough spot”. But we are also not going against the type of “grind” offense of GS. I think the offense ...

Re: App State earns win against Louisiana with two fourth-quarter stops

Guys. We need to stop going on media sites and reposting content here. We’re cutting our own throats. Sites like journalnow.com count web views to judge interest. By reposting this story here, the Journal incorrectly thinks there’s limited interest in App. Simply post a link to the site. That’s all ...

Re: ESPN Article- App State New Year 6 Bowl

Why are so many people/fans on this board so afraid to enjoy the moment (Whoa! We are WAY ahead of ourselves, only focus on this week, etc)? Whatever we discuss over a beer or on this board should not change the outcome of any game on our schedule. Maybe you guys are still wearing your same underwe...

Here’s what you should know about where James Madison fits into the college sports landscape. Below are numbers pulled from sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances for the 2016-17 school year (most recent I could find): Revenue James Madison: $48,210,400 AAC Revenue Connecticut: $83,374,223 Cincinnati: $6...

If Georgia Southern wins tonight and continues to win, then no matter what we do, our destiny is no longer in our hands. A Georgia Southern loss clears our path just a bit.

Re: Jalin Moore

Maybe we could replace the APP-STATE cheer with a JALIN-MOORE cheer when the team takes the field on the 20th. Seems appropriate for someone who gave his all for Appalachian.
