Re: Yosef Club staff: Dominic Parisi

I'm sure DG will read this thread and get plenty of information on how to do his job better. He probably wasn't even aware that turnover was something that might need to be addressed. Believe it or not, I've actually seen upper level admin (not DG specifically), reading the cabin. It seems like its...

Re: I've put it off long enough

Thanks everyone for the feedback, I knew you all would help. Just made all the switches and went with Spectrum Internet, Hulu + Live TV, Netflix and ESPN +, This should get me everything I want and I saved 600.00 a year. I’m about to move in a few weeks and will be dropping Directtv (after 15 years...

Re: I've put it off long enough

I thought I posted a response yesterday but I'm not seeing it here. I have Hulu and ESPN+ (of course). I've had Sling previously and it is fine also, but I agree that Hulu is better, especially in user interface. The only note about Hulu is that they also provide fewer concurrent sessions (2) than S...

Re: Charlotte Light Rail Violence

I'm not disputing statistics. Murders are bad regardless, and obviously having ANYBODY attacked at the light rail stations is not "OK". I don't know if the elderly gentlemen was using good sense or not, but I'm certainly not going to turn it around and try to blame him. My point is simply that I wor...

Re: Charlotte Light Rail Violence

I've used the light rail quite a bit and never had a bit of a problem. I'm sure things happen, but if you use good sense you'll be fine.

Re: NC State Facing Level 1 NCAA Violations

Do we really have to turn cannibalistic every time others on this board don't share the same response / opinion as expected? UNC committed the worst case (that we know of) of institutional fraud involving an NCAA athletics program EVER, spanning almost 2 decades and involving administration and acad...

Re: cabin login question

So, here is a stupid question.....where is the function to change password? I don't see it in the normal places. Surely I don't have to do the "forgot my password" thing. Profile Edit Account Settings Thanks. I finally figured it out. I would swear that it wasn't there the first few times I checked...

Re: Kermit Smith Extension

I hadn't seen the same type of progress from the last guy. I felt great about him when he was hired and certainly wanted him to succeed. Kermit Smith is checking all the boxes though...on the field, I the classroom, Service events. Congratulations, Coach Smith! Keep things going in this direction an...

Seems ridiculous not to use the BofA stadium. Makes total sense to get some additional usage from the facility.

Re: What is an associate head coach?

Associate HC is a step above assistant coach. More money, more responsibility, and gives your best assistant recognition for being the best. There will not always be an Assoc HC on staff. Typically this positions that coach better for their next step to lead their own program, so you are probably g...

Re: App State UNC sold out in 30 minutes

I could be wrong but I really don’t think empty seats from season ticket holders is a huge issue. I’m sure somebody has the exact number but I don’t think we have more than around 4000 season ticket holders. If half don’t show for a game that’s only 2000 empty seats. I agree with you but if you hav...

Re: UConn leaving the AAC

In Oasispirate's defense, I think he acknowledged that letting Ruffin McNeill go was a mistake and caused a lot of their problems. I don't think the harder conference is ECU's issue. The program has fallen into shambles. I'm sure they will re-build but in they hay day, they would have been competing...

Re: 2019 Ga Southern game need some advice

It definitely goes back further than the late 80's. There was a page in the Yearbook while I was in school about the use of "Appy State" saying that if other schools insist on using that name we will start calling them Chatty, Marshy, Davey, Furmy, etc. I graduated in 84 and that name preceded me. T...

Re: App State UNC sold out in 30 minutes

It will happen, every year we graduate 1000’s of students, and a percentage of them will buy Season tix. To maximize, We need a concerted effort to truly connect alumni, establishing relationships that will keep folks coming up the mountain for games. No doubt people love football, but if not conne...
