Re: EZU and Wake schedule football series.

Last Sunday LU had an insert. In the Greensboro paper was a nice slick promo magazine. As much as I don’t care for LU they do make some nice slick promo magazines. The pics of the athletic facilities were impressive. I still don’t care to play them but I would not withhold money from App over it or...

Re: Cobb and Elliot putting together nice football schedule

SE is only the "enemy" for one game per year. Cobb did some good things for App...mostly in football. I don't hate him but I do think he stayed beyond his expiration date. The two issues already mentioned were the primary things I didn't like about him. He didn't do a great job with coaching hires ...

Shouldn't be too difficult to pull some good teams or higher profile name teams into Atlanta. I'm sure many schools recruit that area pretty hard. No reason for them not to have a nice schedule.
Plus you don't have to brave the wilderness like when traveling to Boone

Re: We need this type of facility -will our new facility fill some of these roles?

The free market is at work here. Two parties enter into mutual agreements each year(recruits and schools) on mutually ageeed terms. Some, on the other hand, have chosen other options they deem more equitable... in Europe.

Re: QB next year

Keep in mind, were probably going to see the most responsible QB get the start. The guy who consistently makes good reads, checks in/out of the right plays, takes care of the ball and knows when to tuck it, eat it or Chuck it. This is the most thoughtful and intelligent statement in the whole threa...

Move one to Charlotte!!!! I was just thinking the other day that Boone/App should orgainze either a Bowl or one of those Thanksgiving weekend basketball tournaments. The High Country Christmas Tree Classic/Bowl. I always thought this would be great. I’ve been told it’s an issue of limited hotel roo...

I’d wish it was his last trip up the mountain, but his tenure in Lafayette is working out pretty well for us.

You can’t start taking knees with 11 minutes left. Don’t consider running it up when you go 4 deep at QB. If TL was in late in the 4th throwing it all over the field, that would be running it up. Not our fault they quit.
Yes, they quit. Wouldn’t have mattered how much we tried to pack it in.
