Re: UNCC Game after reflection
With the exception of Last years joyful respite, our Kickoff coverage has been terrible for the whole of my fandom. It is truly fascinating how it has been a constant over the years. We are apparently the only team that can’t kick it to the end zone consistently. I used to tell friends that we neede...

Re: Coastal Carolina
Can someone please help me? We’re giving up 36 points a game against FBS teams! What happened to our defense this year? Okay, I know they were good, but did losing Stout and Duck make THAT much of a difference? Usually, in the past, we’ve had comparable replacements. Is it a change in defensive sch...

Re: Quit yer bitchin'
[/quote] I don’t know how much Charlotte’s roster changed, but they never quit and you could see their confidence building. I have to give credit to a new coach creating a new attitude. I feel like this game would have been more competitive than last years even if we hadn’t had the coaching change. ...

Re: Quit yer bitchin'
I hate to say this as I really expected to beat UNC-CH and South Carolina, but the team that played Charlotte is getting rolled by UNC-CH if they don't get much better in 2 weeks. That was basically the same Charlotte team we played last year, and they carved up our defense all day. Not good at all....

Re: JMU
I don't goof on JMU, I would be very happy to be in a conference with them. I just for the life of me, can't comprehend what makes them think that the AAC of all conferences would choose them (an FCS transition) over any number of already FBS schools.
It literally makes 0 sense.

Couldn't agree more. I follow Ethan on twitter, but I think it is very important to show that there is a market for App content.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
My friends who are not Yosef Club members but really want this stadium full of black and gold will be buying the UNCC season ticket package. Reasoning is it's about $100ish for the whole thing and StubHub prices all exceed $150 as of right now for this game. They will then ceremoniously burn all th...

Re: Roll Call- UNC-Harrisb...errr I mean UNC-Charlotte
I'd be surprised if there will be enough seats for the band to go to UNCC. I would imagine that the Niners would make us use part of our allotment, and I don't think the ticket office will want to reduce supply to season ticket holders and other people that want to attend that game. Having said that...

How bout n qtr final vs furman when richie was injured right before halftime and trey elder came in and threw a 65 yd bomb on first play from scrimmage !!!!! And if I recall correctly, it was kind of a sprint out that looked like option and then Trey unloaded the bomb! Not sure what you mean by spr...

Best of luck, he was a great addition to the team and was fun to watch. Now he has earned a degree from App and is exploring options for his future education, career and life. Football and otherwise. I don't know any details about how the team feels but hope he does exactly what he wants to do. Woul...

I thought we played fairly well early at Georgia, but with the offense stagnant against their D, we couldn't stop them late. They could have scored 50 on us if they wanted to but they called off the dogs pretty early

Re: One flippen play!
Yeah he lined up in the neutral zone, and then jumped further offsides. He made a lot of great plays in the game so I hate to bash him, but it really was one of the most bonehead plays I've ever seen. If he was rushing to try and block it wouldn't have been nearly as bad.

Re: Texas State torched by UTSA
Agreed, i don't think Moore is healthy. From what I saw on Saturday he shouldn't have been playing. He is hurt and doesn't even look good jogging out from the side line. I don't know why the coaches kept running him out there when it was clear to me he had no real chance of being effective.

It wasn't all Rubino especially on the last kick, the snaps were atrocious. Both on the first one where WF was offside, and the final kick. Both snaps were not anywhere close to where they should be.

Re: IT'S THE WAKE FOREST GAME ---
We lost one of the best running backs we've had in a long time, certainly the most productive yardage wise. Our O-line hasn't been as dominant and Moore is a great back but not as good in traffic as Cox was. Yes this is a big game and we have got to start winning some of these games. However, I assu...

Re: UGA Talks Appalachian State
I am somewhat concerned about the loss of Marcus. This is no slight against Moore or the other backs, it's just Marcus' patience and ability to slip through small creases our line created was amazing. I can't tell you the number of times it looked like we would loose yards and then, somehow, Marcus...

Agreed, they took a chance hoping a change of scenery and family in the area could help right the ship. If he is guilty, I hope he gets the book thrown at him. I hesitate to point a finger too quickly, all it takes is one kid to commit a crime and I don't think that means they have a constant cloud ...

Re: Significance of Sloan Title
Have to think as our recruiting coordinator and from what I've gathered an exceptionally fine recruiter, giving a pay bump hopefully helps retain him for a little while longer?
