Re: Gossett Playing in Senior Bowl

I thought Collins had a shot and the same for Colby.Only so many slots available though. Before Kilgore I guess it was Derrick Graham that had a pretty good run. Wonder what he is doing now? Derrick would have had a stellar career in the pros if he could have gotten a handle on jumping off sides. H...

Re: We need this type of facility -will our new facility fill some of these roles?

When people say they want to pay student athletes, they need to be reminded of all the perks and benefits they receive that the average student does not. The lifestyle they live while in college will be unattainable at any point in their lives post graduation for 95+% of them. What do you think tha...

Maybe the none-r fans will put away their pitchforks. Ole Judy wanted none of us. :D

Maybe their new AD will come to his senses and move next season's game to KBS.

Re: UNCC's Judy Rose retiring in June

Now they’ll find out they can’t do better. Not even the greatest AD of all time Doug Gillin can’t change a commuter school culture into a football school culture. You can’t just conjure up a college experience when it’s simply not there. We are Grady Davis. You really get off on that commuter schoo...

Re: Board of Governors

I wouldn't really say he's "from WCU." He was on their BOT, maybe due to the Asheville connection. He's been an attorney in Asheville for years, was mayor. I think he's from there originally, and has been on a lot of boards and councils in that region (Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, Asheville Area ...

Re: QB next year

I hope everyone reflects on TLs career and his last season. 25 TD passes and 6 int's. Not to mention his timely running. He managed our teams as efficiently as any weve had. In my time I've seen the two best in Taylor and Armanti. That's like a bucket list check off. Robbie Price was no slouch. Rob...

So, I am a '05-'06 Alum and have only missed a handful of games since 2002. Back in 2015, I came on here and stated that Lamb was a good FCS QB, but would limit our success as we move forward in the FBS. Of course, my critique opened the floodgates of backlash, but it was never a personal shot at L...

One player vying for the starting QB position will be new recruit Stephon Brown from Glenn High School. 6'5" 220 lbs. He had 2790 yards passing and 43 TDs this season. Plus 840 yards rushing.
What level is Glenn High, Charlie?

Re: Season Ticket Sales 2007 vs 2017 - This is disappointing

Losing out on a net 500 visiting fans per game isn't the big driver for the decrease. Access to online or traditional viewing is 80%+ of the reason. We aren't getting as many alumni to games as we did in the mid-2000's. That's on us, not the competition. We now have GS, CCU, and GA St. (as they gro...

42-13 Final. SoMiss didn't look impressive minus the RB that's graduating. They have a plethora of Athletes and will be a good game next year. If we can find a suitable replacement at QB , no reason we can't be 3=1 out of conference and competing for the SunBelt Champ again. And replace the right s...

Re: Season Ticket Sales 2007 vs 2017 - This is disappointing

I wonder how many of the 2007 season tickets were sold AFTER the Michigan game. After all, we hosted LR on 9/9/2007 and almost 29k were in attendance. Believe it or not, a lot of old timers wanted to see us annihilate LR for old time sake. Plus, it was a very local opponent and tickets were less co...

One thing I find interesting, and I do say this with a lot of tongue-in-cheek but Satt has gone from 11 to 10 to 9 wins. A can't believe some anti-FBS person has not brought this up yet.

What does that have to do with ant-FBS?
