Re: The Carolina Way!
The Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer reported Saturday evening that McCants was not the only member of the 2005 team who relied on the bogus classes. The newspaper said that data it had obtained shows that "five members of that team, including at least four key players, accounted for a combined 39 en...

Re: The Carolina Way!
Serious question for Appgrad1: Are you a LeBron/Heat fan? Not at all. I'm pulling for Danny Green and Tim Duncan and the Spurs. I like their brand of basketball. ACC guys. Of course you are... Danny Green is a Tar Heel. As for McCants, how many Heel fans said he was a loose cannon while he was the ...

Re: The Carolina Way!
I'm not a Carolina fan - far from it - but, as sad as this statement is I will stick with it --- It might be a blessing that Dean is not in a state of mind to have to comprehend what has happened to his beloved university and his basketball program --- Yep, but this kind of stuff could have been ha...

Re: The Carolina Way!
I'll make this one last post on this topic and then stop. I promise. I'm not even one bit surprised that these things over the last several months have happened. But, I am shocked that they ever saw the light of day. Can't help but wonder what else has gone on and how many other sports were involved.

Re: Quick Question
Why come to App then? It's not like the weather snuck up on him. People have known it to be cold here for centuries. :? Being told about the weather in Boone and researching it doesn't necessarily prepare a person for it until they actually experience it and, too, realize the limitations it imposes...

Not sure about this but didn't Lee Marvin and Captain Kangaroo serve in this and get medals for it? That's what I've heard. Not sure though. If you go to Snopes, you will see that never did Kaptain Kangaroo (Bob Keesham), nor as it is rumored, Mr. Rogers, ever serve in any branch of the military, A...

Sunday morning will see me placing a wreath on my Dad's grave, he was part of the first contingent in the assault on Normandy. He survived but most of his comrades did not.

The increase was due to the removal of Laney, and Cobb using common sense to communicate down the mountain and enhance the tailgate experience. And of course excellent weather. I know many alumni football fans who didn't even know who Laney or Cobb were. That's not a bad thing at all. They are prob...

Gonzo, 1. You might not want to quit your day job, whatever it is, as you aren't so hot at mind reading. 2. If anyone should be embarrassed, it would be those who gave idiotic answers to a serious question. 3. Do you think I'm the only one on this MMB who has ever changed their screen name? You sho...

Re: Southern Miss Game
People say our fans don't know anything about Sun Belt teams, but who knew anything about Wofford, Elon, or Samford before they joined? From what I remember the majority of our fans were very upset when each of those little schools that nobody knew about were added. That's true, and I agree that in...
