Re: UPDATE: ICE BUT NO CUPS FOR SATURDAY

Seriously...I would allow the Band or another school organization to set up separate concessions for souvenir cups and ice. Hell even have the Yosef Club sell them and I’d donate 1 game of my time to helping. It could make some nice change. Cup and ice for what...$2.00? How would the band sell and ...

Can we bring our own cups?
As long as they're clear cups inside of a clear bag. ;)
Why don't they just get regular paper cups from the soft drink company?

Attendance at Gardner Webb Game

I just ordered my tickets for the game on line to pick up at Will Call. There sure were a lot of empty seats left on the East Side. :(

A bit more about the punt return https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/9/16/17864636/north-texas-fake-fair-catch-punt-return-td Wow...amazing preparation and planning for that and it was executed flawlessly. Wow! What a play. Only problem is, this might get some PR men creamed this season ...

Re: Power 6 Conference

They have some solid teams but they have their trash too. UAB beat Tulame today. Tulsa, UCONN and SMU aren’t raising any eyebrows. The Pirates down east have been pretty poor since entering the league as well. I don’t knock the conference for pushing the P6 narrative but the AAC fan boys make me ho...

Re: Satterfield

I still say offering a 15 year contract to a guy like Satt is not a bad idea. And it’s time for DG to develop a hit list of other schools big donors, put together a team of alumni in those areas and give solicitation a shot. We used to call that elephant hunting. Would that mean that if we gave him...

Re: Troy v Nebraska

Good for Troy, they help bring relevance to the conference, which we should reep the rewards for. ULM always plays P5 teams and gets smoked, Arkansas State always gets smoked by P5s (or any out of conference game for that matter), and we always take on Top 10s and have moral victories. Nebraska loo...

Shawn is sucking it up and still his usual self on the sidelines tonight. They are playing Memphis tonight on ESPN. Down 21-10 in 2nd qtr. I wish them well...until they come to play App State.

Re: Charlotte v. ODU

ODU ready for a new coach. Could be, but if they fire him, they should fire the AD who hired him, also. Why fire the AD? Bobby Wilder has been the HC for a while. He started the program, and did well at ODU for a while, but it might be time to move on. How is that the AD’s fault? When one employee ...

In the end, it’s a business. If/when SS moves on to another job, I’ll thank him for a job well done and wish him well. Unless he goes to CHeat. Then I’ll thank him for a job well done and wish him failure.
Same here. You are basically saying what I am saying.

Re: Georgia State Coach Injures Himself

So you don't think our head coach bleeds black & gold? What is your threshold and how is it measured? Scott attended/played/graduated/ and still coaches here. The others that you listed did not. Yes, I think Scott bleeds black and gold, but if he goes to UNC-Chapel Hill, he will then bleed Carolina...

I could be completely off base, but I always thought it was supposed to be a dove. That logo so I don't think birds of prey would be the theme. I could be totally off base and I'm honestly not sure why I've always thought that.

A dove is exactly what it was.

Re: Georgia State Coach Injures Himself

This is a dumb comment . Remember, Shawn left App to go to SC, at a time when App was still in FCS. We aren’t talking about going to a rival school for a few dollars more. He left an FCS school to go to an P5 conference. Only after a successful tenure of coaching and rising through the ranks at SC ...

Re: Georgia State Coach Injures Himself

I love the fact that our former players and coaches grow into higher level level coaching positions elsewhere; it showcases the fact that we've got one hell of a football program producing quality prospects that are in demand. I would even think that any recruits thinking of coaching as a career mi...
