Re: Kansas State 'regularly' does not send bowl rings to players who have transferred

Nepotism is always bad. People of otherwise impeccable character fall victim to its insidious ways. I don't know if Snyder is of impeccable character, but I assume he must have done some things pretty well to have kept his job for 27 years. the He has won regularly, which is something nobody has be...

I agree. Legalize cannabis now!
It has 20 to 74% more carcinogens than tobacco.

Re: #KeepPounding Carolina Panthers Thread

I hope this thread goes away soon. If you want to talk Panthers go to a Panthers message board. I know many will say don’t read it if you don’t like it and that’s fine but this is an App State forum. The Panthers somehow manage to win against mediocre teams and lose to good teams. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!...

The first sentence of my post says "hypothetical."

Message boards are for discussions. It's ok to talk about things that aren't going to happen. If that's not your style, move on.
It's also a waste of time; both for the writer and the reader. But, hey, whatever trips your trigger.

Re: Teal Turf

Ours was teal because we were broke. I know you are exaggerating, VA, but we have never been broke. We just had priorities in different places. Athletics took a back seat during Borkowski's term and a front porch (as he used to allude to) under Chancellor Peacock's and various eras in between. For ...

I was at the game and to be honest didn’t give the teal turf a second thought other than “oh yeah, they have a teal field”.

That was my feeling, too. As I said, teal is or used to be one of their logo colors.

Actually, as of this date only 48 teams are bowl eligible. 30 teams need one more win including Ark State and Coastal. Good, Lord. Thanks for the correction. Still a huge field. What we can hope for in order to surpass what we have already done is to rise to the top of the pack...which we will do e...

I can’t think of one that has made or is making Norman money. Sam Martin is making 2.0mm a year after tax 1.4. Lamm 1.0mm The game program for each home game carries a Yosef Club donor section in the back that lists donors within defined categories. It's only as accurate as the typesetters and proo...

No, AppinVa (Richmond App), not you, the opponents we play and have played on the field. And the rep points was just in fun to show how absurd the rep thing was a farce. There were cronies on there who were giving each other rep points even when they were contradicting each other.
