Re: Schedule

Probably know a dozen at this point .Middle aged folks. Describe it as “ like a bad cold” or just fatigue. The latter tested because of contact tracing. Either way a two week stay at home . I tested positive three weeks ago and have just been released from quarantine. Wife is still quarantined till...

Well he liked 24s post, so either you're wrong, or AppinVA only cares when the comments don't fit his political beliefs.
I think the latter part of your comment.

Re: Wake Game Canceled for This Year

Just announced this afternoon on multiple sources. The 2020 ASU vs. Wake Forest game is being postponed to another year. I hate that my hunch was correct...really sucks for our great group of seniors this year. Here is the link to Ethan Joyce's Winston-Salem Journal article. https://journalnow.com/...

Just a matter of logistics and scheduling. Several AD's have discussed the idea.
Twenty or more games in an 8 plus or minus month period?

Re: Wake Game Canceled for This Year

Everything considered, this was the correct decision. This game deserves to be played when all the players are safe and able to play and when all fans are safe and able to attend. While we're at it, let's do what's probably the inevitable and postpone this season until next spring followed by the 2...

Re: Schedule

Guys, I want football as well but will we make money off these games? With very limited capacity I can't imagine a gate that is very lucrative and worth the risks. I also wonder about the impact of agents and others pointing out how those games won't help the stock of our guys. They likely encourag...

Re: Schedule

Guys, I want football as well but will we make money off these games? I don't see why play them just to break even, if that. Would the cost of putting on a game and paying them truly be worth the money we can make from say 10k fans? Also, if we play teams like L-R, Campbell, GW to start the season ...

Re: Schedule

If what I'm hearing is true, fans won't be happy... Terrible way to send the seniors off. No way we get to NY6 with these games.. I haven't confirmed what I'm hearing is true. Have some feelers out though. Why post this? Why not? Quite frankly it's because I'm extremely disappointed if it's true. I...

Re: App/CLT part 3

I could see this game being played in Boone based on fewer cases there, but Boone has had some crazy restrictions on visitors. I would think the fact that KBS is twice the size of JRS and allows for more socially distanced patrons holds more sway than Watauga/Mecklenburg covid rates. I can’t imagin...

Re: App/CLT part 3

Mask on and roll with it @ 50-100% capacity. I'm thinking 0% to 25% if there are games at all. I mean, professional baseball teams couldn't get through one weekend before they had to start cancelling games. Once students start returning to campus... Let's just say I hope everyone enjoys that first ...

Re: App/CLT part 3

We should schedule UNCC as often as possible, Covid or not. It’s good for North Carolina and the G5. I’m often torn about it because their fan base, small as it may be, is so out of touch, entitled and I feel like associating with App validates their otherwise bottom-tier program, but it’s just goo...
