Re: Elliott playing Alma mater article -EJ

Unethical is pretty strong. I’d like to see those examples myself!?! Anyway, who are we talking about Elliott or Cobb? I hope we do the same thing to Looeyville if we ever get to play them. Coach Satterfield is a Cardinal now, not a Mountaineer. I can guarantee that you do NOT hope we emulate anyth...

We put our subs in and let them run the score up.
Good to see the subs get some PT. Only scored one TD on them. Still doubled their points.

At least we finally got the PhD in Psychology program. They make pretty good dough. Don't know how long it will last given the low participation figures.

Re: WBB at Elon

I still have bad memories of the Elon winning after being down more than 20 when we were having a special presentation for the football team for winning a NC. I think that was 06 or 07. Great crowd for a basketball game as many were on hand for the football team and MBB laid an egg. Yep, and Fanche...

Re: Women's Soccer - Sarah Strickland

I don't know, but perhaps he did (or his predecessor) approach a higher profile coach and couldn't get them under contract for the salary we offered. After all, we are a football first and foremost school. Who knows except her and the admin.

Re: Arkansas fires HC

I choose not to worry about any of this coaching carousal because there is absolutely nothing about it that I can control. Therefore to me it is just wasted energy. We are fortunate to have Drink for as long as we have him. When he goes it will be because he feels it is the right decision for his f...

Pretty sure they can get him. He’s from the area. They were his team growing up. If they want him and can make it worth his while, I can’t see him turning it down. Unless there is a clause in his contract with Louisville about taking another ACC job.
There usually is if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Women's Soccer - Sarah Strickland

I hope my source is wrong, but heard that her contract was extended. That would be so disappointing and would just indicate that the AD has no interest in soccer. The athletes deserve better. So why don't you fellows take it up with the AD, Doug Gillin? He has email, ya know. Now if we were going t...

Why must Elon haunt us in basketball with large come from behind victories? Our women lose to Elon after a great start.
Because that's about the only sport they can defeat us in.

NY6 would certainly be nice, but first let's win out, thus winning the Conference, then win the Sun Belt Conference Championship game at home. Let the chips fall where they may.

Re: USC Twitter Bad Mouthing Our Fanbase

I did not attend the game, but I did see where an individual made a comment that App fans were chanting "ASU" during USC's alma mater. I witnessed the same thing happen at Clemson a few years ago. Bottom line - the ASU chant is cringe-worthy, and to do it during a unique pre-game tradition makes ou...
