Another pro player from the Wilmington area. That area has turned out some great ones. Roman Gabriel, Sonny Jergenson and of course, Johnny U, were my favorites.
Wasn't Johnny U. from the Pittsburgh area?
WVAPPeer, Johnny Unitas was born in Pittsburg in 1933.

Re: Ohio State Incident

As you said champ, all you did was cut and paste something from the national news. You didn't comment on it at all. So in other words, there was and still is no point in your post. As far as you cutting and pasting, what he is saying is that you could have left that part out. I suppose cutting and ...

We all read the national news. Is there a point you are trying to make with this post?

Re: Back To Early Spring Ball!

I meant to post this yesterday, but it looks we are going back to early spring ball. Yesterday, on IG I saw a couple players post stories showing the locker room countdown clock. It had a countdown to spring ball and there was a little over 9 days on the clock. First confirmation I’ve seen of us go...

Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see where Coach Nunn has been the last two or three years.

Got a Super Bowl ring in 2011 with the giants. That’s pretty cool
Did he actually play or was he just on the squad?

Mondo DuPlantis sets new pole vault WR 20'4". He is the younger brother of Antoine DuPlantis the all time hits leader at LSU and second all time hits in the SEC. Mom and Dad were track stars at LSU.

Re: Liberty series

Actually I was not trying to refute your point. I was just pointing out what small bit I have read about this. I imagine Walker COB is going to have more right-leaning folks. I bet the Dept of Social Work will have a lot less. Again the nature of the beast. I somewhat agree with you in that univers...

I am AB+ and I get asked for platelets and plasmsa often, as in as soon as I am eligible to give again. There is a big need. There sure is. One thing that gripes me is that so many people and/or entities say much of Red Cross donated blood goes to foreign countries from the US which is a blantant l...

Have been giving blood to the Red Cross for the past 53 years. Not bragging, it's just that my Dad did, too and almost insisted that I follow suit. For the past decade, they have let me know relative specifics on where it went. Last one went here: Thank you for giving blood with the American Red Cr...

Re: Back To Early Spring Ball!

We lost that game because we were not prepared to play the game. We both played in the same weather and they didn't move practice to Alaska to get ready. That game was lost by those not wearing uniforms. Lack of preparation was part of it for sure but there were other factors such as 1. We were a h...

Re: Liberty series

McL. I'd rather give the Falwell clan funds (no pun intended) than what we enabled UNC-CHEAT to make off with because all we NC taxpayers are vested in those creeps. Having said that, I have taken a half dozen or more classes at Chapel Hell.
Of course I had rather neither get a dime from us..
