Re: What is Major College Football's Moral Obligation...

I'm sure there are at least 25 FBS programs who are seriously considering temporarily shelving or completely moth-balling their programs because of this. If that happens WTH are the legal/organizational ramifications? If you drop football for 2 years, what happens when you're ready to come back? Au...

Neal was a good entertainer and even better man, but Meadowlark and Goose were my favs. RIP, Curly. Geez, my generation is departing this life in sobering numbers. Meadowlark was my favorite in the early days, but he has long passed. Curly was present. Even if a person knew nothing about basketball...

Yosef84,

I hadn't thought of that. How many low-budget programs might consider the FCS route. We'll see who REALLY wants to invest in FBS football pretty quickly.
Or who can afford to.

Re: This stinks...

We're going to be thin on defense to say the least:

"He becomes the seventh defensive starter who won't return for 2020. The Mountaineers saw nose tackle E.J. Scott; a linebacker trio of Noel Cook, Akeem Davis-Gaither and Jordan Fehr; and safeties Desmond Franklin and Josh Thomas graduate."

Re: TV worth watching

So...finally some worthwhile sports to watch. Someone posted the link on Youtube (minus the commercia...

Re: 1977 Conrad Stadium

When I was at App is was Conrad Stadium. Good to see the University grow over the years. If it was my choice Kidd Brewer would have lost rights during his failed land deals ("etc") and would have been renamed MOORE Stadium along time ago. I never quite got why it wasn’t named Conrad-Brewer Stadium....

Re: 1977 Conrad Stadium

Compared to today's scandals and what is covered up, it was chump change. Still very wrong and illegal, but small potatoes. Brewer had a huge chance at being governor.

Re: Spring Practice

I've been reading about the upcoming season so I had September on my mind (I guess). Open practice is 3/21. IC. I'v...
