Re: Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Award

Given how much good is done by Samaritan's Purse around the world, I find it odd that they are not a past winner. I hope the Boone community appreciates the reach of Samaritan's Purse and all they good work they do serving hurting people everywhere.

Re: Coastal - 3:30pm - Discussion

Up 3, 1st and goal on the three and we throw two incompletions and then a weak QB scramble /run. IMO, we lost the game when we kicked that fg to go up by only 6.

Re: Aug 16th - FanFest and Women in Motion events

Does anyone know if App and/or the Sun Belt Conference has a policy on transgender athletes competing on women's sports teams? If not, is there a policy in place?

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates

I was a YC member and season ticket holder for a number of years, but I am no longer. For me, I am supporting Anderson University, a Division II school here in SC associated with the Baptist Church. From my perspective, it is run like the program at App used to be run. No NIL, limited transfer activ...

Re: GA St Discussion-Game Thread

Without a coaching change , we likely won’t beat GSU for the next 5 years. They are rising and we are regressing at a rapid rate. I hope our administration understands the cost of doing nothing.

Also, impressed to see Anderson Castle as the possible starter at RB. We have a really great situation at that position.

I would think and hope that if they elect not to provide a piece of equipment that is legal, that would not rule out its use for us.

Clemson Payout

Just saw it listed in The Greenville News that App will be paid $1.25 million to play in Death Valley and that the school will receive 2,300 complimentary tickets. The Citadel will receive a payout of $475,000 and will receive 300 complimentary tickets. Both Clemson and UGA will be paid $5 million t...

Re: Liberty sold out

He is annoying in a snarky kind of way, but he can strategize at a high level and put his teams in a position to win. Hopefully we take care of business this year. We have better talent now, but that may not be the case much longer. Those folks up there have some deep pockets.

Re: NC State scared

Does anyone know how much money we will now be getting to play at NC State? Since they backed out of our home game, I would hope they are paying us at least $1.5 million. If not, I say cancel the game in Raleigh and be done with it. Who cares about them and the rest of the ACC for that matter? This...
