Re: Coastal discussion
The media timeouts are insanity. We have had 15 minutes of commercials and 3 plays run since the end of the quarter.

Re: Wyoming Discussion
Regardless of who or what you blame for last night's loss, in college football accountability should ALWAYS start and end with the Head Coach. Plain and simple. Whether you think Clark is the guy or not, App State football is 8-8 in our last 16 games. That is a fact. And it's the definition of medio...

Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Looks like we got a Juco Transfer this morning. Listed at 6-6 so he would play 3-4 for Kerns. Would assume he plays small ball 4 with someone like Huntley at the 5. Not a 3 point shooter at all (18.8% from 3 last year), but he averaged almost 5 blocks and 11 rebounds per game. https://twitter.com/T...

Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Not sure if we consider Myles Tate a "big time guard addition" from the Portal or not, but solid high school pedigree. Former 3 star recruit from SC. Butler typically recruits good talent so I like that. Logged a bunch of minutes as a freshman - more playmaker than scorer. He had an ACL tear his Sop...

Re: 2022-23 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
That is a shame...I liked him. It will be interesting to see where he lands and how this new world works. Did someone promise him an NIL deal somewhere or just a bigger brand name or were his grades becoming a concern? I doubt we will ever know the last. I don't have any insight into the Duhart sit...

Re: SB Tournament Semi’s vs Georgia State, Sun 8:30
From all I hear, 4/5s of our starting lineup is gone. Guessing you mean everyone is gone with exception of Gregory who is a Junior. Will be interesting to see how much additional turnover we have after that. Assuming all lower classmen come back (big assumption), the depth looks like this: Guards: ...

Yikes! I didn't watch any of the holiday tournament on FloHoops so I missed where that injury happened. Hopefully it's just a bad sprain and nothing is broken.

Do we know if Xavion Brown and James Lewis Jr are out for tonight's game for any reason?

Re: UNC QB preview?
Can someone explain to me how Chase would have a year of eligibility left? Sure. You typically have 5 years to complete 4 years of participation. With CoVid, you have 6 2017 Redshirt 2018 RS Freshman 2019 RS Sophomore 2020 RS Junior (season doesn’t count toward eligibility 2021 RS Junior 2022 RS Se...

Re: Yosef Club 3100 members???
I'm going to take some "poop" for saying this, but the biggest problem with growing the YC is that there's no real reason to join. To get out in front of the comming storm, I've been a YC member constantly since 1998 and have given around 25k over those years. I somewhat agree with you. I think the...

Re: Huesman returning for 6th year
With such a veteran offensive group in place, it's nice to have to have two really experienced QB's on the roster that can lead the team. Happy Huesman was given the opportunity to come back given what all he's put into the program. My only concern is that this will be the 4th year in a row that App...

Re: Kendall Lewis Transferring
He was dismissed pretty early into the year (mid Jan) so it was common knowledge that his spot would be replaced on the roster. His scholarship spot is the last one available for us right now.
Not sure what caused him to be dismissed, but wish him all the best at Illinois State.

Re: Transfer Portal
I might be in the minority here, but I actually think it may be more prudent to bring in a guard from the Portal than a post player. From my experience, mid major teams that have the most success, in terms of postseason runs, have an abundance of perimeter scoring. Our team this past season is a goo...

Re: Transfer Portal
We will bring someone in to sit a year if we find the right fit. I hope we wouldn't bring someone in just to sit. If that's the case, get a high school senior you like and use their freshman season as development only. We have a really experienced team. Everyone of note from our tourney run is back...

Absolutely massive! I didn't expect both seniors to return. Huge news for this program! Run it back and Take the Stairs!

Re: Roy Williams Retiring
Agreed it's a massive domino that will affect a lot of programs.
Assuming that UNC doesn't promote Steve Robinson or Hubert Davis, etc up to the position, it'll be a highly coveted job.
