Re: Birmingham Bowl
Anyone here have any eligibility left ? 1 year left. But have a Microdisectomy next week. I think I could be just drugged up enough to throw for 300 and 3tds by Dec 29. There’s a shot for that. Suit up! Get the icy hot and ibuprofen ready…and probably a wheelchair. I have already called dibs on the...

It’s legit. They finalized it about 8:30 tonight.AppInDC wrote: ↑Sun Dec 07, 2025 9:02 pmBut link just got taken down. They called Baylor and Temple, they both declined and we took it.

Re: Recruiting
If the young man signs, do we really think he would actually start as a true freshman. Doesn't seem to happen often... Will DLo risk that option given expectations for next year? Also depends on what other QBs on the roster. I believe he is our long term plan. Still probably need a QB next year via...

Re: Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!
It is my understanding that DG does indeed read social media so maybe he’d getting these suggestions. DG reading social media is one thing. Actually being open to new ideas and taking action on them is another. It would be a tough balance, because you do want your AD to be open to feedback. But soc...

Re: Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!
How many seats will be included in the east side expansion and how much does it cost? Assuming it's $80M (up from the $50M three years ago before construction costs skyrocketed) and 3k seats at $1,500 each, that's a 18 year payback. That doesn't pencil out. If we receive large donations for a porti...

Re: FB vs the fake ASU Saturday at 2:30
Also, still find it odd that we kept letting Arky get out of bounds on their last drive to stop the clock. The old "prevent" victory defense. Way too soft, no blitz, it's how you play if you are up 10, not 6. This was our pass D all year .. whether in the 1st Q or last minute of the game. Not sure ...

Re: FB vs the fake ASU Saturday at 2:30
Players will generally galvanize their collective efforts based on one of two factors. 1) they love their coach, or 2) they collectively hate their coach. Guess we’ll find out soon, which it was I’m not suggesting either one over the other here. The team played hard the last two weeks which is a go...

That’s a tall order. Road games at State, ECU, Marshall, Coastal and Southern. Can’t really assess the competition until after portal and spring ball, but looking at it as is now, those are going to be challenging games.

Re: Hanging on for 26
Hard to do your job when the HC/OC is in your ear telling you what to call each play. Hahaha. Good point! Is this something you guys know was happening? I’ve been told by multiple independent sources that there is friction and that DLo meddles with DJ’s play calling. To be fair, any singular source...

Re: Hanging on for 26
I am as disappointed as anyone but I have fond a few things to hang onto for 26. No I didn’t see the players or the coaching we will need to compete for Sunbelt championship. But I’m hanging onto three things for 2026. I did see individual players improve over the season. Just naming a few, Mbake, ...

Re: Gillin
I get the sentiments that someone’s head has to role to make some of you feel better, but what makes one think that Gillin’s head is it? Is it because the other guy cost too much? Gillin has bosses and they approved these decisions. At least two of the BoT sat in on the interview process and they to...

Re: At Mercer
We dont have a consistent number 2 scorer. Njock is a bit of a dissapointment to me. I was expecting him to step up this year after sitting out last season. He looked great on what recruiting film we had on him. I figured he would be at least out #2 scorer. It seems like we keep getting pretty good...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
The argument against last years staff was that they were in year 5 and the program has cratered under their watch. This staff is in year 1 with an abbreviated offseason and is producing the exact same results with less continuity and less playing experience. Don’t you think that proves in of itself...
