Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
Scapegoat? Most fans don’t know enough about anything to form a cogent opinion. They just want to blame someone. I see what I see and I know what I know, after watching 40 yrs of App football. So I conclude I must not be in your category of most fans. Something aint right there in the play calling ...

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
I’ll be shocked if we hire an OC. Loggains loves the TE in his scheme and he went out and got our highest rated recruit in a TE. He has no intention of releasing the OC role. If we see the same failures in offense next season, all confidence should be lost. Hoping he has the players in place next s...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
It was always the right decision to play this game. Everyone involved should be commended for it. The players that decided to play, mostly. They played hard and put in the effort. I'm proud of them. This game showed once more that the offensive play caller is a hinderance to this program. Dowell ne...

Re: The J Cline Memorial Celebrity Obituaries
Gil Gerard - Actor Played Buck Rogers the Lead in Buck Rogers in the 25th century on NBC. Passed away after a short battle with cancer. Anthony Geary of General Hospital fame - Played Luke of Luke and Laura fame on GH. If you were at App during that time and you were a dude chasing girls around, yo...

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?
He competed with Swann for the position. He slid, after he took a hit on a previous scramble. We that his choice or was he coached to do that? I’d love to see him out there, but in today’s portal world, I don’t know that not playing speaks to his character or the advice he is getting from his “camp...

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?
Players are home for Holiday and meeting in Birmingham. This is not an uncommon practice for schools. App will pay mileage/airfare to get players to bowl. It's not coming out of their pocket. App State is paying. Just paying each individual rather than chartering a flight & busses. Exactly. It’s re...

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?
I’m disappointed in Kohl not finishing the season, if true. Agree. Not sure that helps ease some of the doubts about his level of competitiveness. Hopefully those doubts are wrong, but ducking a hit and diving short of the 1st down earlier in the season Along with this has definitely raised some qu...

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?
Wilson is in the portal. Maybe he’s still in the mountain for the bowl game, but on December 2nd he announced his intentions to enter the portal. Loggains said that anyone in the portal can play in the game if they want. With only one portal window, you have to get your name out there to at least s...

Re: High Point in Hickory
Not the point of the conversation, but that's a middle school attached to the back side of LR. The high school is about a mile away from LR's campus. That's my home town and I grew up close enough I used to ride my bike up to LR and back all the time. Talking about the game...what High Point was ab...

Re: High Point in Hickory
Dodd has impressed me the most. He is a vastly different dude this year offensively. Last year he seemed so tentative to take a shot.

Re: High Point in Hickory
High Points net rating was 87. The highest rated Sunbelt team is Marshall at 118. That was a big win. This team is fun to pull for. I hope they can keep having fun.....winning. Validates my thought. HP is a very talented squad. They play solid defense. Move the ball well and can get after it on the...
