Re: The Quarterbacks

Yo I already feel for Zac Thomas That dude is most likely going to have a superb season in 2018 for us, but every time he makes the smallest mistake people are gonna be clamoring for Brown because he's "big." So basically I expect him to get the Taylor Lamb treatment lol. Where he'll play great and...

Re: App @ Texas A&M in 2022

Anybody know what the difference in traveling costs, say to Wake Forest vs Texas A&M would be? Not factoring in possible payouts, just costs. And the number traveling? So do you mean a bus trip versus a plane trip? Bus would be cheaper I imagine but by how much, I don’t know. Aware that bus travel ...

Re: ECU Home Game Moved to 2023

It is difficult to control information when it gets out in a somewhat “controlled” environment. Speaking in possibilities to some doesn’t guarantee that it isn’t spread as a certainty to others.

Re: ECU Home Game Moved to 2023

Home and Homes are nice but they don’t pay the bills. While a H&H with UCF/USF won’t net the money earned from a P5 money game. The extra 10,000 tickets we sell for Wake, Miami, UNC-CH or whom ever at $45 a ticket plus extra concessions sales are likely a bonus $500,000 after extra expenses verses ...

Re: End Zone project moving forward...

I’m with you on the number of permanent seats, 30K max. I would move the hill closer but make it larger with teired seating with SRO at the base to allow for adequate site lines. . My only question would be was the current video board placed where it is done strategically? It seems that it would be ...

Re: End Zone project moving forward...

Current and past attendance figures for us and college football as a whole don’t necessarily lend to support expanding. However, with the increase in regional opponents and the potential of some bigger draws to the Rock mandate that we build for the future to accommodate those occasional crowds. Emp...

What I don't get is if ZT has such a live arm, why didn't he ever get a chance to show it in the limited time he saw the field? Whenever he was in, we never went deep. I know it was mop up time but still, let the kids play and show what they got.
Probably to keep it off of game film.

Re: The Quarterbacks

I went to an event last week with Coach Satt and Doug G. Satt said it's anyone's race but that ZT would be very difficult to unseat as the #1 at this point. Coach said he was fast, smart, and had a big arm. I don't want anyone to take what I'm about to say wrong: But, something tells me that ZT is ...

Re: Signing Day

Spring games are a wasted day in my opinion. You only have so many days for spring practice and those games for the fans are a bit more relaxed and don’t provide an opportunity for teaching. Besides, the weather in early March would only bring out the die hards.

Re: Clemson 2024

On a somewhat related note. We started looking into flights for the Penn St game in September. I realize that most will look at Philly and Pitts as destinations, but BWI was significantly cheaper and is even closer of a drive to State College than the two Penn cities.
