Re: App Finishes Out 2020 Schedule

I didn’t say that schools in Florida DID look at us that way, just that they might. So playing Wyoming made sense to you? Playing a UMass is an easy way to expand the footprint. They are between some areas heavily populated with athletes with limited options in the north. Many of them would go south...

Re: App Finishes Out 2020 Schedule

A FCS, and especially one against a MEAC team, is an easy buyout. I have no problem with it. Gotta have somebody to offset the game at Wisconsin. Personally I'd rather buy out UMass. Why would you rather buy out UMass? Like an FCS game, they're bad enough that beating them does nothing for us. Unli...

Re: App Finishes Out 2020 Schedule

I like the idea of an FCS game. Given the new Redshirt rules, it give the young guys to get in and get some game reps early on in the season without the risk of losing a redshirt.

Is Dysaun Razzak any kin to Kareem Razzak, an ASU RB about 15 yrs ago who had a career ending injury? ACL maybe?
Cousins apparently.

Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

The accounts I’ve read haven’t mentioned anything about the coach defending anyone. It’s just as easy to conclude he was pissed his car got hit. And I also haven’t read he propped him up against a wall either, ( or that he read him a bedtime story and tucked him in) just that he got out of Dodge an...

Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

So to recap without details. Drunk man is loud and looking for his Uber. Citizen comes out and drunk guy pushes/punches citizen. Coach punches drunk guy in an attempt to defend said citizen. Drunk guy falls from punch and hits his head on the curb. Coach assist drunk guy by sitting him up against th...

Re: Penn St prediction

Teams have been loading up to stop the run for the past three years. If our rebuilt right side OL is clicking, we'll be just fine in the Belt. Very true. Probable difference between then and now is that we are replacing a lot of pieces on defense. May give up more points than what has become the no...

Re: Wake BB assistant in big trouble

The headlines are misleading. He punched a guy who came up to his car and the punch caused the guy to fall and hit his head. Not condoning or

Re: Penn St prediction

Agree. It is a great assessment of both sides. The ONLY thing that I would disagree with is the comment, a win and it is smooth sailing the rest of the way. Totally disagree with that. Teams are going to load up to stop the run all year and dare Thomas, et al to beat us through the air. Doubt that w...

Re: Break-Out Player on Offense and Defense this Season?

Personally I am excited to see what happens with Stringers spot. I think we have two really good young men in D'marco Jackson and Tyler Bird who will figure into being a very big part of our teams present and future. I am too. Not concerned about the talent available to take over, rather I am more ...

Jordan Fehr is a former student so I am biased but he is a hard worker and a very smart player. I'm looking for him to have a big season.
I agree with you. I think that he will be a good one. I think this defense will be very good once they get some game reps under their belt.

Re: Break-Out Player on Offense and Defense this Season?

All one needs to do to see how the defense could look at times this season, sans a replacement for Stringer, is to look at the full games and parts of others than Stringer missed. Big difference preparing all off-season for attrition versus mid-season due to injuries. Stringer was a great player, b...

Re: Break-Out Player on Offense and Defense this Season?

My picks have less to do with their popularity and more to do with a position change. Offense: Baer Hunter- Even his name sounds nasty and I think that he will bring that attitude to the position. A coaches son who is smart and will play the right way. Defense: Austin Exford- With Thomas back this ...
