He didn’t play last season but I don’t know if he was derostered
He has retired due to injury but he is still a part of the team. I believe that he is assisting with S&C. As to why he is still rostered, don't know.

Re: 2020 Depth chart

Well this thread had honest and humble beginnings lol! Not trying to derail the conversation but who is everyone's "under the radar" guy coming into the season? For me it's Zareon Hayes, I think he finally gets some significant reps and shows out. Also any news on how the first week of practice wen...

Re: 2020 Depth chart

Are we sure Roof is any good? Why would you assume that he isn’t? He did play at a P5. Before I say my response to this I'm not going to say Roof is a stud or that he is bad because I don't know yet. I never watched him at GT or Indiana and he did not play in 2019 so I don't know. With that said, t...

Re: 2020 Depth chart

Yes, Harrington will be very much in the running with Brown. Wouldn't be surprised to see both get starts. I imagine Roof will be in the mix at ILB, as will Bird, Doublin and maybe one or two more. But if you're just projecting first string, the two guys who split the spot opposite Fehr last year a...

My sources are telling me he can play just fine. Stay tuned.
Mine too. We have five good ones in the middle and if he is the worst of them, we are in good shape.

Re: 2020 Depth chart

You didn’t answer my question. What makes you assume that he isn’t good? Roof is a sound football player that can get the job done. And yes, in theory, or at least if you go by ratings, which I don’t, he is better. Not sure how you qualify, “good”. We need a bunch of good players for depth. Will Roo...

Re: App vs ECU getting bumped

I believe that the games that you speak of were all neutral site games. Thus, the promoter dictates the price. This is a home game for App. Seems reasonable that we get to set the prices for the game.

Re: 2020 Depth chart

It is difficult to gauge the 1st team for most of the spots as they are moving guys around to see what works. Also, People’s is out for Spring Ball so I really doubt he is the starter this year.

Also, Huff and Ross are playing the same position so they can’t both start.

Roy plays one offense...run, run, run. He does not change his style to match his players. And that's why he's not that great of a coach. Great coaches use the players strengths they have.
You don’t win as many games and Nattys without being a great coach.

Re: Assistant Coaching Position Assignments

I’m not worried about Dale as DC. He had a say in play calling with Woody. He understands the defense and how it works. DeBastiani has been a DC as well and knows how to call a game. Braswell understands the defense as well as anyone and can lend some insight on what works and adjustments. Dale will...

Re: Who stays, who goes?

Any defensive assistant coach rumors out there? Looking forward to SC completing his staff for the 2020 campaign. Man. Information is hard to come by. CSC has played this one close to the vest. I imagine we have to be getting close though. It has taken awhile to finish this up, but I imagine there ...
