Re: G5 Poll
If you don't think Kelly and Saban were paying players well before NIL, you are living under a rock... There won't be proof because it's all swept under the rug because there's too much money to be made if it's not... People have two choices. They can either seek the truth or develop a conspiracy t...

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
No insight, but I feel Kermit scheduled the ETSU game for RPI purposes to make a late push for an at-large. ETSU was 55 going into the weekend while App was 72. Live RPI currently has ETSU at 52 and App at 64. GaSo was 68 but got swept at home by the Cajuns and dropped to 75. ETSU dropped 2 of 3 at...

Re: G5 Poll
G5 will become feeder program for P5 in the NIL era. I don’t think coaches look at that way. They want players that want to play. They aren’t interested in guys looking for cash. Here is an article on Brian Kelly’s approach on transfers. https://blondiewithlove.it/2024/05/08/bl-wlv/RTsd245818LtCu40...

The ebbs and flows of emotions on this board during a game is entertainment gold.

Re: Is it time to rethink the sports we offer ?
You have to have revenue to be able to share it. We and many others survive on student fees. In the wake of heavy student debt those fees are being looked at very seriously. Boy wasn't paying players more than we have been a great idea? For the big schools specifically, hopefully revenue sharing sl...

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
We will need to be able to hit their lefties. Moving Steensma to #1 was the right move… wish it would have happened sooner. This is the best pitching staff in the SunBelt so it puts the … best hitting team vs the best pitching team…. as was described in 247, they have hit better scored more runs at...

Re: 2024 Schedule
Our overall success for the season is going to come down to keeping Joey upright. As long as we develop as a solid pass blocking unit to go along with the run blocking, we should be fine.

Re: Is it time to rethink the sports we offer ?
If college athletics begins the 'revenue sharing" that is being tossed around at the P5 level and like new AD at Texas A-M recently made staff cuts/layoffs is happening, you best believe App State will be cutting 2/3 sports in the future. DG wanted to cut Golf in 2020, Big Money Man Ricks said no. ...
