Re: MSOC-Navy Draw
Very physical match judging from the boxscore. One of those red cards was on ASU senior forward/midfielder Harrison Delbridge. He's automatically suspended from the next match. That's a significant loss. Someone else will have to step up! Navy's red card was straight red for flagrant, dangerous fou...

Re: MSOC-Navy Draw
Good crowds, both Friday for Marshall and Sunday for Navy. The Navy game was physical, with a multitude of fouls, yellow cards and two red cards. We had a very close call in OT when Navy rocked the post. I'll have to say, it was impressive, and an honor, having the US Naval Academy in Boone. Now let...

Re: Coming back in from the ledge
Though the disappointment and frustration of last night still lingers, and most analyses and criticisms on the board are right on the mark, our team needs us to stay on board. Consider: * We could have played a very good game and still lost last night. * Last night didn't cost us a national champio...

Re: We Just Got Our Butts Whipped Soundly
Well, we were on the wrong end of a good old fashioned butt whipping, which nobody likes. But, we're Mountaineers and we're tough, nasty, and resilient and we'll just roll up our sleeves and get to work and make sure we come out swinging next week.

Re: UNC-Charlotte Spring Game Draws 14,000
Regarding UNC - it will be a challenge to build them into a consistent winner and top 20 caliber team. maybe Fedora can pull it off, and succeed where others have failed. UNC will always be a "basketball first" school. any top tier coach with any ego will get tired off playing second fiddle to hoops

Re: APPALACHIAN!!
McNeese State = MacNeese State......most say McNeese and it's really MacNeese.
Yea, and my dad, a true southerner born and raised in Mississippi, pronounces McDonald's as "MacDonalds".
