Re: Question for AppState247 users
My only problem is the fact that App pushed Rivals on the radio shows and how Rivals did a good job and then they fell off. 247 stepped in and became the leader and yet App has not given 247 the props it deserved. Rumors were that App actually gave 247 a hard time early on, instead of appreciating t...

Re: That Last Samford Touchdown
They could have scored 100 and it wouldn't have made up for the overwhelmingly lopsided series between us. Let them have their "revenge" during our rebuilding/transition year. In 3 years no one will even remember who Samford is, let alone that they beat us once out of 7 games while we were in the s...

Re: the jug
App has never gone 1-11 and lost the jug to WCU in the same year. Serious question. If we are 1-10 when we play WCU and we lose to them, should Scott be fired immediately following that game?

Re: Oct 7th Tommy Bowman W-SJ article
On offense, the Mountaineers started two seniors on Saturday. On defense, five freshmen and two sophomores were in the starting lineup. This is the problem....We ArE yOuNg !!!!!!! Usually I would agree with that but we have the preseason OFF POY, 16 returning starters, and the freshmen who are star...

Re: Charlie Cobb dogs Brownie pregame radio
Alabama football 2003 - 4-9 1993 - 1-12 1984 - 5-6 Any of this look familiar? Damn Saint, you forgot to state what they did in 1901. Don't compare us to Alabama for one big reason. They replaced their coach with Nick Saban. Don't think Satterfield is anything like Saban. It shows we can come ...

Who are the others?Old Wideout wrote:Word is Paul Magloire has left the team.
Seems that nearly 10 have left since the beginning of the season.
Lots of guys believe the coaches don't seem to care about them at all.

Re: Is this the future?
Then how do you explain the fact that we have been winning conference titles with the exact same type players. I think some people forget AE was only here 4 years. Our problem is at least 75% coaching. These guys could still go 7-4 this year in the SoCon I see unfolding this year... everybody excep...

Re: Is this the future?
Have we all considered that since the three teams that beat us are a combined 10-0, maybe they were all just better than we were expecting, and things could turn around? Losing to Montana is not the end of the world. The other two are the kind of teams we used to pull our starters to keep from runn...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
We don't seem to be in the business of recruiting linemen. That's where we're getting whipped every week. Earth to Satterfield..."we have a problem!" we already have 3 OL commits right now and could get more in time. we also brought in 4 last year with 1 being RS and 2 getting some early PT I thoug...

Re: Charlie Cobb dogs Brownie pregame radio
A fan called in post game and flat railed on the coaching staff. Brownie lied and said the talent gap between us and A&T and Chas So was not as wide as you think. He defended the caoches. So there Charlie. I don't think he lied. People have an exagerated sense of the talent gap. I think he was tryi...

Re: Is this the future?
The world is not ending, it just seems like it. Soon we will have a new chancellor, new AD, new basketball coach and new football coach. This is not the future. I'm with you. We just have a rough patch of a few years. I will say that like someone else said NCAT and CSU are better than people expect...

Re: This starts at the top!
"Also, missing a large target on the receiving corps hurts in not being able to sustain drives." That large target would not have made a difference. Speaking of the OL, were we or were we not bigger than A&Ts DL? I don't believe the size disparity excuse can be used this time. Also, if JLJ is not m...

Children,Children, calm down.Yes we have problems, but lets not turn on each other. The play I saw in the last quarter gives me some hope of a rebuilding season. We aren't the can'tamounts, yet.Let's encourage Kam & the rest of the team. ;) I know it's only two games in, but, I'm starting to have seriou...

Re: Satterfield
I don't know if people have noticed but Saban doesn't tweet. Satterfield definitely spends too much time on Twitter. I think a lot of our coaches do. Scott has some qualities I love but I do think he spends too much time on social media. Craig Bohl up at NDSU doesn't get on Twitter. Why don't our co...

Re: Sean Price arrested?
Sad thing here is that I believe in the 3 strikes rule and hope Satterfield does as well. If so, he can't get in trouble anymore or else he would be gone under that rule. Everyone was talking about him as a big time draft pick way too early. He has to show he can mature and doesn't make these mistak...

Re: Recruiting, 2014 (temporary)
Thank you, Firemoose! Very well said. It is VERY early in the game. In previous years, we have shown ZERO activity at this point. We have as many verbals right now as we have usually had in November (yes, it's a "guesstimate"). Maybe part of it is the great job being done by Firemoose and others in...
