Re: Baker Mayfield of the SunBelt
I prefer Zac’s demeanor. There are many great athletes who do not appreciate their ability and what it could afford them in life. I dont get the impression that Zac will ever display that sense of entitlement, shown through arrogance or lack of respect for others or the law. Athletic ability is a f...

If I didn't know any better, I'd say we have a Jerry Colangelo situation on our hands.

Guys, that tweet is some random guy with 42 followers. Scott is not getting $1.2 million from Louisville. Use your heads.

Re: Louisville to meet with Satt after ULL
Let's face it, a P5 contract is a game changer for any coach and their family. Let's say UL gives Satt a 5 year, $3M/per contract. That's $15M of guaranteed money which sets him and his family for life regardless of performance. Add that every competitive person wants to reach self actualization go...

Re: STOP the "Neers NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
If enough people enjoy saying it, and it sticks around, then it becomes tradition. If not, then it'll slip away. That's how traditions work. Either way, it just seems like a really silly thing to get so worked up over. Far less offensive than the morons that complain about every running playcall tha...

Re: MBB: stAte @ App State HCC 3:30 PM
I am not going to blame attendance until we put a consistent product on the court. We have not been over .500 very often and the product currently is pathetic. I was there yesterday and it looked like year 1 of a rebuild not year 4. I'm not blaming attendance for the woes but teams do feed off of c...

Really enjoying our team this year. Williams is extremely gritty, and Shabazz and Forrest continue to be really impressive scoring the ball.

Re: First Time Attending App Game - Advice
If you aren't looking to pay for parking, there is free parking at the big parking lot outside of Watauga Social Services, across from Galileo's. There is a free shuttle that runs from there to Raley Lot, which is one of the main tailgating lots, and close to the stadium. Not a far walk if you don't...

We're not even taking a lot of threes this half. We're turning the ball over before we can take them.

Re: The other coaches, how did they do it?
You bring up an interesting point. Is it possible we have a problem with location? I am familiar with at least three students who left after 2 years strictly due to weather. None were athletes but I could understand that as I am NO FAN of cold weather. The last football game is my last visit till s...

Re: Bobcats Traveling to Boone, NC 11/5
A few places I haven't seen mentioned yet: Rivers Street Ale House- Nice place with lots of TVs and a pretty big deck, pretty much right on campus. I've only had their burgers, but I thought they were great. Really good drink specials as well. Might be a little too student/frat oriented, but not a b...

Jalin's offers coming out of Shelby were us, Wofford, Gardner Webb, and Southern (That's Southern University, not Georgia Southern). We got a heck of a steal.

Re: Peach bowl 2016
A lot needs to happen for that to occur. We'd basically have to go 12-0 IMO. A two loss top G5 team (AAC or C-USA) would get the bid over a 1 loss SunBelt team. Simply because conference schedule would be tougher for them. Unless the Sun Belt makes some noise OOC as a whole conference. Not just us ...

Re: Terrance Upshaw
In his two years as starter, he has a 44-16 TD-Int ratio, a 16-6 record, a Sun Belt Rookie of the Year award, is leading the Sun Belt in several categories this year, and is 7th in the entire country in QBR.
If that's not good, I really don't know what is.

Yeah having the number one rated passer in the league is just horrible.
