Re: Vegas odds for Ga South
Well I ended up losing $150 but that's ok. I was the only person in the entire place that bet on App (I could tell by when people cheered). But it was still fun and I always expect to lose when I gamble unless I'm playing poker. Guess that's why they always say never to bet on a game you have an emo...

If we go another week without being able to kick a field goal I might need a couple of those drink tickets.

Rank the home-and-homes
Charlotte is the worst team on the list...yet if I could only win one game on that list I would pick Charlotte. I would say Southern Miss has the most football tradition of the bunch while Old Dominion might be the best team on that list. I like the fact that all of them are winnable. Scheduling a b...

Re: Vegas odds for Ga South
I think you read my mind. I was planning on doing the parlay with those exact same choices.
One thing I am confused about though is do I go by the line at the time that I bet or by the line at the time the game starts? Like I said I've never bet on a game, I'm more of a poker player.

Coincidentally I'll be in Vegas Thu. I've never bet on a game before but I'll be taking App with the pts.

Well Mike contacted the network and they said the web stream of the channel will NOT be showing the game. Sorry if I got your hopes up.

Re: Can We Sign 37 Football Recruits Like ODU?
Exactly but the conference rules vary though and may not allow a school to sign as many as they want. The Big-10 requires waivers over 25 and I think the SEC does over 28.

Re: Can We Sign 37 Football Recruits Like ODU?
This is kind of a complicated question but from my understanding the 25 limit only counts towards individuals getting scholarship aid for the first time so transfers wouldn't count (not sure about JuCos). One main way to do it is "backcounting" where you can count all or some of your early enrollees...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
lol I'll be the first to tell you we can't beat Firemoose at what he does we can only try to keep up. He's the best around no doubt. What we CAN try to do is be the best at interviews and utilize the 247 profile system to keep track of offers/visits/timelines/crystal balls in a cool format. As crede...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
Stringer signed his LOI today. He is graduating in December. Here's where the new rule comes into effect and is going to add a wonderful time to my life, 78's life, and the recruiting sites. Technically he didn't sign a NLI (LOI). He signed the new financial aid agreement. All it means is that thos...

Re: Recruiting, 2014
Oh don't get me wrong I would have my doubts too if only one source was reporting it. And just so there's no confusion, for "offers" we take players at their word that they have been offered. Unfortunately some of those players may in fact have "uncommittable offers" - that's just the nature of the ...
