Request for bids for the first bid package weren’t released until December with a bid opening on 12/19. Their wasn’t enough bidders to open so it was re advertised and a new bid date of 1/10. Thi...

Does anyone know if the bricks in the plaza around "The Rock" have been removed? That is where mine is/was.
They were saved by the contractors.

We’re going to be in town for the weekend as well. I was wondering if AMB would have it on.

Unfortunately due to ESPN 3, we really don’t have any where to go. We’ve had viewing parties at Hickory Tavern, but it was for the Georgia game.

Re: Lot Opening Times for GS

I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t take advantage of extra curriculars during my time in Boone and I regret it. Building relationships with fellow students outside of the classroom is just as important as being in the classroom. See y’all at 3:30.

I had the opportunity to earn my degree without sports but played with some folks who didn't go to college because the money wasn't there. I'm proud to be able to give wha...

Re: Broyhill Inn to be demolished

Sometimes it's less expensive too tear down and start over than it is to renovate. That was the case with Winkler. They had a budget of $12 million and bids came in at $18 million and they still wouldn't have what they wanted. A new building will save money over the long run due to the energy effien...
