Sun Belt fan survey

The App State Sports twitter account tweeted out a link to the Sun Belt survey. I'd encourage each of you to go take it. It took me roughly 15 minutes to complete.

Re: App @ Texas A&M in 2022

Already making plans to go to this one!!!

Friday night yell is supposed to be an awesome experience. Can’t wait!

On the other thread I had said I wanted: 1) marque stadium or 2) drivable. This is most definitely a marque stadium/program.

Re: TONIGHT BB GAME

There’s no debate that Cobb screwed up the hiring and termination processes during his tenure. The number of choices he got right could be count on one hand...that’s not my point in any of my posts. My opinion: I believe that Fox is the right person for App right now and I believe he has done a Herc...

First road win of the year for South Alabama. Typical Apps get some excitement then lose winnable home games.
I was wondering where you had been. Then I realized, the basketball team had been winning. And now here you are again. Dude, what’s your ax with Coach Fox?! Did he cut you or something??

Re: ECU Home Game Moved to 2023

A home and home with Army would be awesome! ‘15 is right, it’s going to be someone who would benefit at the gate who will sign a H&H...money games could be anyone this far out! My preference is either an iconic program/stadium or something I can drive to in a day. Penn State and Clemson fit that bil...

Re: Clemson 2024

I think we all agree we would love to play Wake every year. Schedule H&H's with Vandy, Duke, Kentucky and any other "bottom half P5" program. But the reality of the situation is we need a $1.5M+ game each year for the overall athletic program. AND those lower tier P5s aren't going to schedule a game...

Re: Clemson 2024

I'll take any G5 home and home over a second money game in the same year or FCS game at home in 2020 (paired with UMass, yikes). I'm not a fan of playing two P5 games on the road in one year. In 2019 we don’t have a money game. The UNC series is a H&H and the last game is the money game. I don’t kn...

Re: Clemson 2024

***educated guess**** Just doing a quick scan of the '19 schedule and we have 3 OOC games confirmed. (H: ETSU & UNCc, A: UNC). Which means we need a "money game". Looking at the P5s who need a game and would be willing to play a strong G5, the ones that make the most sense are: Alabama, Florida, Sou...

Re: Will JMU Regret Not Jumping to Sunbelt?

Gameday shows up in Harrisonburg because the executive producer is an alum. There is no other reason. “No other reason”?? ...and NDSU because...? Regardless, you’re missing the point if you dismiss it as a friend of a friend excuse! The point is their administration views athletics as a part of the...

JMU's new basketball arena yet to break ground New College of Business Here's two examples of the construction going on at JMU. Unlike Boone, Harrisonburg has a lot of land available to JMU for expansion and logical planning purposes. For that reason, their athletics teams have some great facilitie...

Re: Will JMU Regret Not Jumping to Sunbelt?

As a parent of a student at JMU, they're NOT yearning for a FBS call. Gonzo's friend is the majority not the minority. And their administration is extremely comfortable being the big fish in their little pond. Their administration is committed to being a national brand, but they believe they can do ...
