Re: Jermaine McDaniel Leaving Team

I hate to lose a great player, but the Appalachian Family is about more than just football. I hope he stays involved with the university and has a wonderful life as an alumnus.

Re: JMU

Goof on JMU at your own risk. They would be a great addition to the Sun Belt. But they're justified (just like we are) in thinking they're worthy of a higher level conference.

Re: Countdown to Top 25 Ranking

Penn State's loss and Jalin's injury stunted our climb.

Re: Ask the AD... some tweaks to the game day experience...

I knew this was going to happen. Gillin does an "Ask the AD," and everyone loves him again without actually doing anything substantial. I appreciate what he does and I know this makes me sound like a sour puss, but this whole concessions thing has been a miss so far. The fact that our chief complai...

Re: Bowl Projections - Week 5

The one thing I've figured out reading these projections over the last 2 years...they don't mean a damn thing! They're little more than click-bait!

Love the historical ties! Makes it even better!

Would love to see it used at baseball too! ...after a home run blast!

Re: Train Whistle....

Maybe one day, we add the sound to the Bell Tower/steam plant and at Trivette so it sounds like it's coming down Rivers Street and up the Stadium Drive into The Rock!

Re: Bill Conley and his S&P+ model New Year's Day Bowling

Penn State's success is key...we both have to win out for us to have a shot at this, and even then its a long shot.

Re: Ark State Game/Travel

I lived in Memphis for 8 years before getting to come home to NC. Memphis is a town of haves and have nots. Do not go to the wrong side of the tracks after dark (period) And do not walk alone downtown after dark. I travel a ton, and this can be one of the least safe places in America. No hyperbole, ...

Re: Zeb Noland and ISU

I often wonder about players like this that decommit and go elsewhere. Especially the ones that go to P5s...do they see the field? Do they graduate from that school? In this case, it looks like it’s working out well for Zeb. And I’d say we’re in good hands too.

Here’s a question...which would you choose?
1) playing on the road in a Sun Belt championship game.
2) playing NC State in Raleigh

Re: Georgia State Coach Injures Himself

It's not like he was acting ridiculous. If you watch the video, he's just a passionate, exuberant coach. Things happen. Never get old. And I get that we're supposed to dislike our competition, blah blah blah, but Shawn was an active member of our team, either as a player or a coach, for 17 years. T...

Re: Shaedon Meadors

I don't feel any need to throw barbs at Meadors. He certainly helped to turn around that 2014 season for us when he pulled off that red shirt and made some circus catches. I hate that he decided to exit the way he did. Hope he heels and finishes strong. Completely agree. Seeing what we've seen at t...

Re: Satterfield

Now more than ever we need to get people into the Yosef Club! If you're not a member, EVERY level helps. Even a $25 donation to the YC makes a difference. If you can't make a donation...bring an extra friend to the next game. We have to expand our base.
