Re: Spring Practice?

I was on the sideline for friday's practice and saturday's scrimmage. Like last year, II thought the defense- at this point- is ahead of the offense. It's definitely good to see Blair back in the mix; he'a difference maker and vocal leader. Deuce was out (nothing bib, but of course his absence is fe...

Re: Behind the Mic

Anybody knows more about the NT situation? I thought Burns was gonna be the starter going into the season, but then Bronson took over and now Small seems to have the nod. Are things likely to stay this way?

Re: that was ugly

I honestly believe the guy who yelled in my ears for the entire duration of the game was totally sober. Which I'm not sure if it makes it better or worse.

Re: that was ugly

As if the poor performances on the field were not enough to render the gameday experience less than enjoyable, you also have to hear those "know-it-all" folks on the stands who seems to really get a kick out of insulting their players and coaching staff after every play.

Re: Another Player Quits

I didn't know Gore was no longer on the roster. Did he quit or was there something behind?

Re: Going Forward

I was particularly surprised by our defensive effort (or lack thereof) yesterday, because I thought our D hadn't played that bad at all in the first three games. I was even more surprised considering that we were going against an offense that was substantially similar to Wofford's (a semi wishbone),...

They're going to get an e-mail from me.

Paradoxically, the Samford feed last year was better. And it was free.

Re: Commit looking elsewhere?

But what's the point for a kid to commit this early in the process??

Also, if I would like for the NCAA to prohibit official visits after the kid committed. A commitment is a commitment. If you wanna explore your opportunities you should be allowed to; just don't commit.

Re: Go for two

Exactly. Lots of college teams treat XPs like that nowadays. It's a simple option.
I don't understand why some folks saw it as disrespectful to A&T...Score was very much close.

Re: Mountaineer Football

It the post game program Brownie mentioned how much we miss Shawn Elliot. It's evident we have no one with his enthusiasm and drive to keep the guys pumped up. Shawn was a great mentor and role model. We need to clone him. That is true Shawn brought enthusiasm, drive, and a certain attitude to our ...
