Re: MBB: App State @ CCU 2 PM HTC Center, Conway, SC

I don’t know if Fox is really focused as much on showcasing Shabazz as people think, but if he is then he’s doing a bad job of it. Agreed- I don't really get the line of thinking that the problem is that Shabazz is being groomed for the next level. I don't see it. Nobody looks good right now. Howev...

I don’t see the money to buy him out given we are trying to hire a football staff.
I was under the impression that he is in the final year of his contract - in which case there would not be a buyout. Maybe I was wrong.

I think the volleyball player is Lexi Kohut. The local paper mentioned the injury, but I have not seen anything on her current status. It does not appear that she played against Ga. State yesterday.

Re: GSU at Texas State Tonight

I realize that it was a midweek game and GA So was on the road, but Texas State seemed to defend the triple option effectively. They held Ga So to 15 pts, their lowest point total all season other then against Clemson. That was also the lowest number of points that Tx State had given up all season. ...

That is really a bad break for him, but I wish him the best. It was great to see how he worked his way back.

Is there a reason why he could not play next year if still a student? This was only his third season as an active player.

Wondering if some players on the right just did not line up properly and were too far out, creating a gap that they could not cover when they leaned in like the other players.

Re: Texas St game

My biggest concern is the lack of productivity with the run. That had been the bread and better for our offense for some time. If that is not reliable right now (at least the way we have been running), what is our next best option? Marcus Cox was a very reliable short yardage receiver who excelled a...
