I texted a few people last night early in the game that my neighbor was one of the officials. Let’s say I’m not shocked with how it was called…
You should put a "for sale" sign in your neighbors yard .
He obviously wouldn’t see it
Or anonymously share an address?

No joke! Refs suck.
Xavier got robbed by refs at Georgia. Get the SEC and ACC to the finals at all cost.

The refs owe us 4 points!!

Re: Larry Hand and Bart Star

I remember hearing Howard Cosell say (in your best Cosell voice) “ Laryeee Hand from Appalaychun which is how you pronounce it. I know people from the area”
That was before I thought about ASU but always remembered that.

Re: #TeamClark

You people who will only accept championships as measures of success will never be satisfied. It’s ridiculous to place that kind of expectation on any coach. You should be glad that expectation isn’t placed on you, whatever it is you do. If it is then I’m sorry for you and your family. If you place...

Similar to 2017. An 8-4 APP met 11-2 Toledo. Toledo was upset and thought they had been slighted. We destroyed them 34-0.
They also didn’t get past our 35 yard line.
Coach Terry soon ended up with the duck commanders. We can wreak havoc if we just will.

Re: Cignetti

I don’t see Cignetti in Chapel Hill. But I also don’t see him sticking around at JMU forever. I can’t stand the Dukes but Cignetti has done a fantastic job following Mike Houston’s success and navigating JMU through the transition to FBS. But our friends up north would say, “Cig is gonna stay here ...

Hope it snows. Essentially a night game at 3:35pm in the mountains. Please no, we aren’t a poor weather team. We had the playoff game against Western Illinois or something and it snowed a lot, otherwise I don't remember a great track record with snow or very cold weather or rain. Georgia State. Mou...

Re: Scores weekend of 11/18

I’m watching College Football Final. ESPN running scores for top 25. The 17Az. Score comes up then 19 ND. They skip over 18 JMU! Like number 18 doesn’t exist. At the end of the show they did highlights of ASU JMU. still did not designate JMU as 18. Is that due to probation or SBC can’t get any respe...

The couple that sits behind us for the last 3 years are UNC grads. Season tickets to App. Their kids are at ASU. They went to the UNC game in their App gear! We had chairman Brad on the BOG we should have gotten some love then. Nope. We snuck in some funding for HCC then Legislature passed a bill th...

I could not hear it either. Section 112 on the aisle with 111.
I’ve given up on the video board “experience “ and the DJ. It’s something you more r less have to endure to see the game.
I encourage everyone, at least once a season to watch the BOD march into KBS. Gave me chills Saturday!

Re: Traffic handling leaving FB games

1ASU78- Well an ambulance was at the exit for a bit so that might be a little of the wait. I was on 4th level as well. The annoying honking by many did not help. They should allow the entrance used to exit as well. Just tailgate for a bit and all is well. Yes. The horn honking was annoying. My trou...

Re: Traffic handling leaving FB games

In the how was KBS thread, I mentioned Rivers St deck. Game over, I watched students give ECU WAY WAY WAY too much credit then headed to the deck. Change into a dry shirt and pull into line (4th level) make it around the first turn then sit for 40? Minutes not moving. It was the same after GW. It ha...

Re: How Was KBS Today?

Too many drunk App fans acting like appholes cursing at families in purple on the walk out of the stadium. People like this give our entire school a bad reputation. We have our fair share of jerks. These folks pay for tickets, gas and in some cases overnight accomodations and have to endure that cr...

Planes from all over the country were grounded. They were 3-4 deep on the ramp. Lots of them had to park on the ramp at the freight hangars. Never before had there been that many planes parked. People came off planes and had no idea where they were. On top of that they couldn’t stay at the airport. ...

Re: UNC, App State delivered another thriller — proving why it’s a series worth continuing

The condescension and "Holier than thou" tone of the whole article is nauseating. The line about App having no business competing is ignorant and insulting...If you're even a moderately attentive sports journalist you'd know that Appalachian is a serious player in the CFB landscape and should be re...

I usually get to the stadium earlier than yesterday. We were in a mass of people waiting to get n the east side. Then people start trying to move through the crowd rather than behave. Then other people see it and try until I said “no you wait just like all of us do”. Drunk people and that situation ...

Interesting to see that our use of “yellow” pre-dates the “old gold” that a segment of our fan base are so fond of.
Yes sir. Still love that old gold. Best uniform colors yet.

Re: Opening day in Hickory

At least it didn’t have some cooked up story about touching the bell before exams! The brothers could have had a bell for communication to students. The furniture factories in the town I grew up near had loud whistles to start the day, beginning and end break, lunch and quitting time.
