Whose pay grade is higher? Assistant or associate?
I don't know the answer to this, but my guess is that they're similar, and the slightly different titles exist only as a way to give multiple coaches the pay bump.

Just out of curiosity, which NY6 bowl game is the access bowl this coming season?
Cotton.

CFP is Peach and Fiesta. Rose (B1G vs. Pac 12), Sugar (SEC vs. Big 12), Orange (ACC vs. B1G, SEC or ND) all already taken. P5 locking down their spots as usual, regardless of merit.

Re: Easiest Schedule in FBS in 2019

I just find it hard to believe we have the easiest schedule in all of of FBS football this year. I know Charlotte is on the schedule, but at SC & NC should keep us above the bottom, especially since SC is considered to have the toughest schedule in FBS. https://fbschedules.com/the-toughest-and-easi...

Re: App State UNC sold out in 30 minutes

I can see Zac being at 3 but I don't agree with Jake Bentley ranking that high. I like the quote, "the App State game is going to be one of the most entertaining games of the year for Carolina fans." I don't know enough about USC to make that call but I'll trust your judgement. One can hope that th...

Re: 2019 Sun Belt - Oddsmaker Win totals

And those are statistical odds. If you have three games with a 60% chance of winning, individually it looks like you should win everyone but over a season it amortizes that you may lose one of those. Should just copy this post and paste it whenever someone posts a variation of "some guy at football...

Re: Prepaid away Tickets

I just called. The man told me the game is completely sold out. He actually suggested buying season tickets and selling the rest of them on stubhub. The fact that they're holding some back for season tickets would suggest there's a decent chance they eventually release a few more for our game, assu...

Re: App State UNC sold out in 30 minutes

I have a kid at UNC and went to family weekend last year. It was horribly attended. Picture above might even be last year's family weekend. That said, there will be plenty of tickets available you will just need to look for them. Craigslist, Stubhub, etc. scalp at gate, etc. I had some friends who ...

Re: Prepaid away Tickets

What section are App fans sitting in at the UNC game? Want to make sure I’m surrounded by black and gold! Bump. I also want to know. This chart is from last year, but judging from the sections that aren't available on their season ticket site, it looks similar if not identical this year - visitors ...

Re: UConn leaving the AAC

I don’t see us being a serious contender to go there now. But I don’t get the idea that Charlotte is either. Their revenue sports are in shambles right now, and there’s no reason to think a move up would somehow improve them. I know, I know, markets. But aside from the CUSA example of that model fai...

Re: Prepaid away Tickets

Our game on the hill is the only home game that unc-ch has EXCLUDED from a mini-package offering. Why? I view it as we are the only game with high enough interest it stands alone. Doesn’t require a mini-package to fill the aluminum jungle. Obviously there's plenty of interest in the Clemson game - ...

Re: Appalachian Unpopular Opinions

We had plateaued with Satterfield as HC It’s probably true this is overall unpopular, but I’ve seen a surprising number of people express a similar view. It’s kind of curious considering Satt’s last team was his best (despite heavy losses from the previous team that had many predicting a semi-rebui...

Outplayed them and were down 4-0 before the late goal with the extra attacker? Admittedly I didn’t watch the whole game, but that seems like a stretch.

Tee Sims was the best DLineman App had since Murrell and Hunter ten years previous.
Love Tee Sims, but that title belongs to Ronald Blair. Dude was a monster that no one could stop. Loved watching Blair. GO APPS!!
Agree and I would argue Myquon Stout is next in line.

Or just scrap "Welcome to the Rock" entirely. There's nothing special about the line. It's always been cheesy. I don't personally think of it as any tradition at all.

Re: Appalachian Unpopular Opinions

It’s been said many times. Drink has been handed the keys to a Ferrari (or whatever sweet car you choose)- don’t wreck it. Satt was given the keys to Mercedes- strong and dependable with plenty of miles left. He didn’t really speed but was a very cautious driver. I agree, no fantastic wins and a fe...
