Re: UNC-CH FB Recruiting Violatons?
Don't think this one thing in and of itself is a huge deal, but it sounds like this is the least of the troubles Belichick and his clown car of a staff have created in Chapel Hill. Starting to be rumblings he won't make it through the season.

Re: East Tower
Original renderings had it going almost right up to Stadium Drive, with a retaining wall similar to the west side. It also overhangs the east deck by a small amount, covering maybe 3-4 rows. Stadium Drive does not appear to be rerouted. The concourse would probably be a bit narrower, but there woul...

Re: East Tower
I'm torn on this one. I love to see the place grow and keep up to date................but........... I hear you, but I'm for it. I think there's plenty of room to upgrade that east side with minimal to no loss of what we like about KBS. People have been calling to expand KBS capacity since we first...

Re: Happy Opening Day!
So much parity this year. The playoffs have been unpredictable recently even when there were what appeared to be dominant teams. I have kind of assumed the Dodgers would turn it on in October, and they may well do so. But I actually do think the Reds are a scary matchup in a short series. I don't ha...

Re: Prayers for Coach Clark
I'm not sure if they'll retiree his number, but I believe he should receive a waiver and get added to next year's HOF class. I think this would be a great way to honor him, if it even requires a waiver. But it would be certainly deserved, and the timing feels like it would be right. I'm not a big f...

Re: Arkansas HC Search
A bit surprised that Drink isn’t on this list. Arkansas is not the type of program that can lure a peer SEC head coach to their school. I certainly don' think they have that sway. Maybe not but he is from Arkansas which might be an appealing draw for him. Yeah, plus whether or not a coach is realis...

I feel sick. Had hoped the recent updates were a positive sign. Thinking of his close friends and family.

Re: AP voter doubles down
All you have to look at is USC (3-0) one spot below Notre Dame (0-2). How many teams after week 3 have been winless yet still in the Top 25? I don't know. If you believed one team was better than another, and then Team A lost to Miami and Texas A&M by a total of four points while Team B beat Missou...

Re: AP voter doubles down
I think there's a place for both computer rankings and human voters. Polls have their flaws, but I don't think one voter making a dumb oversight in week 2 completely invalidates the whole concept. Also, AI still makes a lot of basic mistakes, computer rankings are only as good as the humans who des...

Re: AP voter doubles down
Pretty awful video. Not the end of the world, but to just ramble on and laugh about it and say "I'm glad people are having fun with it" is a bad response. If she just said "my bad, guys - that was an oversight. I'll correct it on next week's ballot" then I think everyone would just move on. But a lo...

It's the title of a famous 2000s-era self-help book for women about recognizing and accepting when a guy you like doesn't like you back.

Re: Apps In The Pros Mega Thread
Would love to see us get some guys drafted in the middle rounds or earlier, too. Even though it's a double-edged sword because there's more pressure and scrutiny if you don't pan out. It was still cool when we had Evans and ADG going late 3rd/early 4th in the same draft, or Dexter Jackson/Armanti/Qu...

As far as definitions, they are having a similar argument on 247 about the likely outcome out going for it on 4th down. Some are saying likely is something that is 54% or 60% of the time when the reality is many view likely as mostly a sure thing, which 60% is not. Some people view things different...

Re: Apps In The Pros Mega Thread
To answer: I think most people can understand what I mean by "bigger contributors." That's not to say our guys who are on rosters aren't contributing at all. Obviously. I'm talking about regular starters. Guys who aren't at constant risk of being cut or sent to the practice squad. A Pro Bowler would...

Re: Apps In The Pros Mega Thread
Let’s not over exaggerate our presence, or lack thereof in the NFL. We aren’t, nor likely will we ever be churning out NFL contributors. I don't think the total number is so bad, but it would have been nice to produce at least a couple bigger contributors over the course of our run of success. Plen...
