Think that ship sailed 15-20 years ago. Football "commitments" were more like reservations well before NIL.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
There is a difference between renegotiation and extortion. This dude threatened to sit out the playoff game unless they gave him more money. As much as I hate to say it, collective bargaining is the only solution to this. Absolutely. I don't know why people balk at that idea, at least in comparison...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
If I am Joey Dimes, I am making contact to see if he can get paid and play somewhere else. You only got one more year left. Someone else may pay him that needs a QB after spring practice. 2 comments here. 1. Why are we worried about it? He is the UCLA QB. We have our own QBs and we should support t...

Re: Rays potentially moving to raleigh/carter Finley complex
Listen....The whole idea of baseball in Raleigh is rediculous. First off the most notable minor league team in all of sports is just down the road and they don't sell out every night. Secondly, Raleigh and all the required parties won't get their act together and be on the same page to get a stadiu...

Re: Rays potentially moving to raleigh/carter Finley complex
Charlotte doesn't seem to be pushing for MLB while other cities are...not shocked. Wish city and gov't officials would push for it. Carolina's have too much baseball history, population growth, young families...etc to not be represented by a team. (Yes, that's been the Braves for years) Time to hav...

Re: Rays potentially moving to raleigh/carter Finley complex
I’d think that the Orioles and Braves would have something to say about them relocating into their markets. Possibly the Reds as well. Would be completely absurd if they were allowed to stand in the way. Raleigh isn't even in the Braves TV market anymore, BTW. Nationals are actually the closest tea...

Re: Rays potentially moving to raleigh/carter Finley complex
Obviously fake/April Fool's, but for those interested, my understanding is that any Dundon-led bid would likely build a downtown stadium rather than one in the Carter-Finley/Lenovo area. A little surprising to me, given how much he's putting into developing that area.

Re: Happy Opening Day!
Anyone got any ballpark trips planned for this year? I've been to the Padres, Nationals (3x), Red Sox and Mets with my family in recent years. Summer travel plans still TBD this year, but would love to visit 1-2 stadiums. Got to the Athletics, Wrigley, and White Sox last year. Planning to get to Ca...

Congrats to her!
I know it's not a popular place on these boards, but pretty much everyone I know who went to UNC seems to have had a great experience there.

I was also in school during his tenure. Didn't know him well, but from my few interactions, he was always kind and had time to talk with students.

Overall benefit to who? I’ve got no problem with “bad faith” answers since they aren’t made in bad faith. Clark’s media availability was typically early Monday morning. Some of the injuries aren’t known and to the extent until later that afternoon or throughout the week. I don’t see a coach protect...

Commenting before someone else says, “probly cuzza NIL and the dang transfer portal!!!” It’s probably because he was 67-69 over 11 seasons "The decision to step down was Clawson's, sources told ESPN, as he felt it was time. Sources compared the decision to recent moves made by Virginia basketball c...

Re: Clawson steps down at WF
Would have been someone I'd have liked us to contact if he'd stepped down a couple weeks ago. Perhaps he just wants a break from coaching, though.
