Re: Recruiting, 2015

Moose, Do you think Morgan was waiting for an offer to be a QB and just never got one he liked?

Seems like a really solid prospect(Safety), but most of his senior film is QB.

Re: Recruiting, 2015

I think the question will be David or Caruso as our backup QB. I think both are more than capable, but what we saw from Lamb in his first season is very impressive. I think we have three QBs capable of starting, but this is Lamb's team now, and we should be happy to have the most important position ...

Re: Helmets

Maybe we should start referring to it as simply the "A".

The word block hasn't been kind to us as of late.

Re: Recruiting, 2014

This has been fun. Thanks to firemoose. Also our coaches have made us proud. I have looked at every players video. I think Mykelti Armstrong maybe the class sleeper. Looks like he should have been rated higher then no stars to me. Any thoughts He'll get rated, along with Moore at least. 24/7 just h...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

Thanks again for another great year Moose. Excited about Noil. Great size. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if we transition some of these WRs we have into DBs somewhere down the road. It's tough to really utilize more than 5 different guys, and we already have established WRs in Jones and McElfresh...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

I am really excited about this class. Each year I have 5 or 6 guys that I really feel like will be impact players for us, but this year there are like 15.

Re: Recruiting, 2014

It was mentioned a few days ago that Jordan Noil decommitted from Maryland and did visit App with his high school teammate earlier. I wonder if this may be one of the surprises if we can land him?? Would fill a need after losing both Walton and Alex Gray. We need a true ball hawk at FS and this kid...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

would love to know the thought process of Eaton choosing Temple, he obviously loved all the attention he got during the recruiting process, and he seems to be a kid who might need his ego stoked to stay motivated, so if that's true, why would you go play at a school that consistently one of the wor...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

Found a workout video on Eaton. Very impressive for a 6'5 guy. Also a nice set of soft hands. You can tell by the video he has done the drills many times which make him a hard worker in my book. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmkAsuMo1q4 Very Impressive footwork, in watching highlight videos it see...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

I love these additions. These are very talented players who will bring a lot to the team, but more importantly it seems like everyone of these kids has high GPA and SAT scores. After having some players leave the team for off field issues the last few years, it seems to me the coaches have placed an...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

I think Penny Smith would have had a very similar path to that of Paul Magloire. I think he is a great athlete, but as a QB I don't see it. The release has a hitch in it and it seems long at that. I do think he could be a solid contributor elsewhere though. Compare the footwork and release of Caruso...

Re: Recruiting, 2014

Walton is the new Canty for me.

I hope we can keep him, but I am not expecting him to sign with us. Would be a huge get though.
