Re: UCLA transfer

Does anyone know if you can practice with the team (all aspects aka practice squad) while sitting out the transfer year. That would be a huge benefit to Gibbs and program even though he is not playing in games. Yes. You have access to all aspects of the program and can do everything but play in an ...

Re: UCLA transfer

I wonder if this is a domino that will make others fall. I know nothing about this situation. Maybe this is non football related, but it is interesting for him to transfer to a school that already has 4 young QBs on the roster. He is joining his brother at App who is a PWO. Well duh. I wasn’t quest...

Re: Fox extended to 2021

The first has been done already. They have been interviewing for the other two (one to fill the internal promotion spot) for a couple of weeks. Couldn't do formal interviews until Lentz was official at Tenn but they have been setting things up for a while. Two people were here the last couple of day...

Re: UCLA transfer

The NCAA has always made transfers sit and their reasons have been to let a student athlete get accustomed to the new school without having the burden of athletics come into play immediately. Really it's to make kids think twice about leaving. Things are moving towards another direction with some of...

Re: UCLA transfer

Covering it in the Lodge in the 2019 Commits section. Still getting confirmation on everything and he would have to sit a year so it would be as though he was a 2019 commit. Which is why I put it there. Also his brother Miller Gibbs is a PWO TE/WR for the 2018 class and is listed on the App site.

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

I apologize for getting my hackles up. Yes, there is a history on the MMB and, as 89' said, it's a sore subject for some of the members who saw all of it. I personally have given more money and time to the YC and App in general than I can even count. And my overall family's giving is into the seven ...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

For me, this is a sore subject not because of anyone in this thread, but because of history. There used to be some very vocal posters who were more than happy to tell everyone how to spend their money, and were ready with ridicule and harassment for those who disagreed with them. I'm glad that ther...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

Just to be clear, you don’t have to be rich (to be my girl...) to join the Yosef Club. Every donor counts big time even if you’re just giving a hundred bucks a year. Per-capita alumni giving makes a huge impact on corporate donor-ship. In short: if you have a smart phone on which to read Yosef’s Ca...

Re: New campus housing project moving forward

This has been discussed before and, for most members, there has been an unspoken agreement that we do not criticize or degrade someone for their financial situation, especially in regards to season tickets, Yosef Club, etc. In context this is no different than someone saying "I understand what you a...

Re: Schmid drafted in 13th round

Just FYI we probably lost another pitcher that was coming in this fall. RHP Mark Potter (6' 6" 273) of College of Central Florida (JUCO) in Ocala, FL This was from April: https://twitter.com/mpotterstl/status/987128581263372288 And today: https://twitter.com/MLBDraftTracker/status/100441909375844761...
