Re: ESPN Article- App State New Year 6 Bowl

No matter how much or how little we acknowledge it here, the AP and the Coaches Poll are going rank teams. ESPN, CBS, Yahoo Sports, etc, are going to give credit to teams that are winning. If these coaches or players want to find praise, it's out there. So why not enjoy it here as well? Sure, we hop...

Re: ESPN Article- App State New Year 6 Bowl

One thing to keep in mind is that it's not the best G5 team, it's the best G5 conference champion. I agree it's still a long shot, but we just need some help with the MWC and AAC championship games. IMO as a one loss team, we're in over a 2 loss champion from any G5 conference and any 1 loss champi...

Re: ESPN Article- App State New Year 6 Bowl

This is awesome, if we continue to win this type of discussion will only intensify. Love being in the national discussion...this can only help with recruiting. Need UCF, USF and Cincy to stumble which will happen as AAC conference play moves through their schedule. BTW, we are on vacation in Florid...

UCF's strength of record is stronger. Be curious to see how soundly they thump ECU this weekend (or not).
We are all ECU fans this weekend...... :)

Attendance v UL

Looks like the only tickets left are GA. Family weekend has become a hot ticket the last few years. We had over 30k last year v CCU. Do we top 30k on Saturday?

Re: ESPN Article- App State New Year 6 Bowl

Keep your head down and win, that's Satt's plan. Rankings, titles, and bowl games will come because of it. Sure. Good idea for coaches and players. As fans, nothing wrong with enjoying all the press and chatter we're getting. We are sniffing the top 25 and gaining respect as we go. Enjoy these good...

Re: North End zone project

We have 24,500 seats. We averaged 25,787 fans during six games in Boone last year. We need the north end zone project for the football and training facilities and for all the fans on the waiting list for luxury seats. I think that 24,500 figure included the temporary end zone seats. My understandin...

Re: Yet another Music Act from App making waves

The Nude Party is another good one that has been steadily gaining a following after spending the past year or so touring. Yes, they used to play nude at house shows. Very Doors-y. Definitely have to check out more of their stuff. I'm known to be somewhat of a music critic, but I dig these dudes. I ...

Re: Yet another Music Act from App making waves

Glad to see Boone reestablishing a musical identity. The town is in desperate need of a good music venue. I hope the renovated Appalachian Theatre will be open to booking musial groups.

Re: Rick Neuheisel - Satterfield

I know this is a dead horse and hopefully Satt will stick around just a few more years. However, I believe what Coach Brown has done is extraordinary. I predicted a fall off in the defense once Woody left and I'm happily eating crow. He has surpassed all my expectations as a DC and you can tell the...

I'd rather play a Sun Belt title game or not at all on Dec. 1.

If anything is scheduled for Dec. 1, a back-up date down the line should be included in the deal.
I'd take VT or UNC in Boone as a consolation prize.

Re: Big news coming soon?

I too would guess a future year P5 home and home. No way we should schedule something on Dec 1. I think it would be a smart move to schedule something, but I don't see anyone agreeing. If we nail something down, we either play for the SB championship or possibly play a regional P5 on 12/1. Win win ...

Re: Yosef Donor Packages

The obvious way to prevent this problem from happening in the future, would be to move everything up a few weeks. Tickets, packets, etc, being shipped mid August obviously gives little room for error. Hopefully the YC will aim to get stuff out early August moving forward. That way if issues outside ...

Yosef13.....how much credit was applied toward your 2019 Season Tickets?
I would assume dollar for dollar. I did not ask. If not, i'm fine with it. It's likely that I will have totally forgotten about all this come time.
I read is as the 1/6 price of a season ticket or $35.
That works.
