Y’alls stadium looks so much better without the track. That tweet is a great shot of the changes.

Re: Drink Interviews Update
Or cusa. Or Mac. Or mwc. Or aac. Or most of the schools in any p5 conference.
There are only a handful of jobs that aren't stepping stone jobs. If you're being used as stepping stone, it means you're doing something right.

Re: Unc Charlotte
I caught some of the second half. UNCC did a lot of their scoring at the end of the game when GW players were cramping up after each play, which is the typical tipping point for FCS teams with fewer scholarships/depth. Their offense uses a clap to signal the center to snap the ball. They’re going t...

Re: UNC-C Hire
In my humble opinion, the 9'ers are just taking who they are able to get to come there for the money they are willing or able to pay as well as expecting said person to put out the dumpster fire this fledgling program has encountered. But who knows, the kid may turn things around. Doubtful but stra...

Re: UNC-C Hire
It’s a nice hire for Charlotte. Not quite the splash of the Houston announcement but he will inject some excitement into their program that they desperately need. I’m not really familiar with how he’s done at austin peay but good for them. His recruiting was really good. He had the #1 FCS class twi...

Re: Brohm Staying at Purdue
Only way I see Satt turning down an offer from Louisville would be to accept one from Georgia Tech instead. i would prefer Louisville if I were given the choice. GT is a higher profike academic institution but I think winning at UL would be easier. Standards are looser there snd he may have more.su...

Re: Coaching change at UNCCheat
With Satt's kids being at Watauga and firmly entrenched in life in Boone, do you all expect he would uproot his family at a pivotal time in his kids lives to move? I can think of 3-4 million reasons he would consider it and only 900,000 reasons he wouldnt. Never underestimate the power of money. Y'...

Re: UNCC football dumpster fire
I sent an email, but I didn't put that much effort into it. I just told all the BOTs how great Judy has been for recent publicity on ESPN, local sports stations, etc. Talked about how she has put UNCC on the map during her tenure and I hope she sticks around. I never went so far to pretend to be a ...

Re: UNCC football dumpster fire
The poster who started the thread is more or less a parody. He posts in 3rd person and never fails to take a dig at App. Putting Southern instead of State is probably a shot at the Panthers (we all know how much GSU & GS hate being mixed up by the media) with undertones aimed at their admin for not...

Re: MLS coming to Raleigh
This is an attempt to lure MLS to Raleigh. I doubt it happens. Well...they're explicitly luring the MLS with this announcement. You really cracked the case there. I'm sensing some animous here. I guess you're aware of Charlotte's desires for a team of its own and don't want that to hurt Charlotte's...

Re: Really, Marshall ?
I know Marshall isn't good this year, but it still felt nice to beat them. Many of their fans ran their mouths all off season about not belonging in CUSA. If we only had one win this year, I would have wanted it to be over Marshall. We're actually not that bad with the new QB. Klugh, Phillips, and O...

Re: Good Get for Charlotte
Washington is a good get indeed, but Bama is one of his finalists in the same sense that Angelina Jolie was one of mine. Maybe so, just repeating what I saw yesterday. Said he was choosing between Pitt, Charlotte, and Bama. He has an interesting story though. He was homeless at one point recently. ...

Also word trickling out that we're expected to get a commit from this guy:

His final 3 were Pitt, Charlotte, and Alabama.
A rare good day for us Niners.

What do you guys lose this year and what do you return? I know the QB is back, but I don't know much about the rest of the team.Gonzo wrote:I'm more optimistic about a top 25 preseason ranking in 2016.

Re: A Positive to Thursday games
yeah Thursday/Friday night games are definitely good for students. They have nothing else going on that early in the night, so a football game is a good excuse to party and go out. Our best attended game in history so far was our Friday night game against FAU. Students showed up in force despite it ...

Re: Charlotte is being introduced to the real FBS down 42-7
49, I wouldn't worry about the loss, happens to everybody, I was at Alabama last year when they destroyed Texas AM, I think the final score was 66-0, and truthfully, Bama could have scored 80 plus if they wanted. I think you guys are doing fine, the big thing now, is to try and get Charlotte behind...

Re: Let's look forward to Old Dominion
ODU has a very bright future, but their quarterback has looked like a freshman QB so far. I don't think this is a game they'll win unless you guys just play a shit game.
If they do, it will be on the legs of Ray Lawry. That guy is a great RB.
