Re: ESPN+ Most Important Games for Top 25

Did we beat ETSU like we should have? Probably not, it was truly a “tune up” game that we needed with lots of new stuff to iron out at that point.

I can already see 500 people on that party deck enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before the game.

Re: Turf Replacement Pics

Heck, while they were digging around they should have taken out about 6 ft of dirt and lowered field, then extended lower seating a few more rows toward field.

Nice article. I also like the picture of ADG with that uniform combination. Makes him look like a serious player.

Re: Universities report covid cases in athletics

I say, bring all the students back to school immediately (over summer), let them have a huge party in the stadium with lots of close contact. Let them all get it and then quarantine the entire school for two weeks and be done with it. Every NCAA school should do the same and let's get on with it. Th...

Re: FALL 21 QB?

Here’s the deal with ECU. If we played this year we would be absolute favored team. That doesn’t guarantee a win but it would be a game we should win. However, a year from now we know multiple things could and will happen. 1) we will be replacing significant skill players with a very good QB being a...

Re: AppState Football fan safety survey

It’s time to get back to normal. Hold the games allowing anyone to attend that chooses to. If you don’t feel comfortable or are a high risk person then don’t go and watch on TV. This right here is why several states are currently spiking & a second wave is likely. It's not about your personal comfo...

Re: FALL 21 QB?

Question about our backup talent. Most of us agree that for the moment, Huesman appears to be #2 QB. Therefore, what would it take to displace him this year? One of the other guys playing lights out in practice? Is there enough opportunity for someone else to show enough in practice to get a sneak i...

I think the point of this thread was to have some fun speculating as a fan. Why take that fun away from us?

Football recruiting rankings - retrospect analysis

One of my points I have continually harped on is has there been any analysis of how players have performed (results) in college vs how they were ranked coming out of high school. In other words, did their college career performances match their hype. This all goes back to our opinion of star ratings...

Re: Latest Boone visiting restrictions

So how is Boone going to enforce this lunacy? They don't have enough officers or jail space to lock everybody up. People have been transporting illnesses and viruses in/out of that town for hundreds of years but now they think they can prevent it from coming to town? I guess this is how we are going...

Re: Dave Clawson Smack Talking

I also would not lay that on Lamb. I think ZT has more juice but Lamb did a good job that day. Gotta lay that one on kicker and their team made some plays and we didn’t. But I like the Clawson attitude and agree if you say it own it. Our boys just need to to take the wood to them this time. This wou...

Re: Michigan game rewatch

Since we have been in FBS for a while, the magnitude of this upset becomes much larger than I originally believed. We were a great FCS team at that time but the depth differential between FCS and FBS has become more clear to me. It is not just the 85 vs 63 scholarships but the drop-off in capabiliti...

Re: QB Recruit

Here is an interesting comparison. Jacob Eason was recruited to UGA as a 5-star and started almost immediately as a highly regarded freshman QB. He got hurt as a sophomore in our game and never regained starting spot from Fromm. The reason he didn't regain the starting role was because he was not v...

Re: QB Recruit

At this point, if Zac were to go down and anyone on our roster had to replace him, it's almost certain there there would be some decrease in QB play. That's why Zac is the prohibitive starter...he's the best on the roster! Obviously nobody wants that to happen. If Huesman has to come in, I think we...
