Re: Yosef Logo?
That is the Yosef designed/owned by Mountaineer Mania store. It was very popular in 80's when The University was using that terrible side profile that had replaced Victory Yosef.

AWESOME match up. Ohio is a flagship state university and on a 3 game win streak. Looks like a great game. Proud to be a Mountaineer.

Re: Miami (The U) in Boone next year (yes this is football)
FWIW, word floating around is that the Miami end is pretty much done. What is still being worked on is our end with negotiating a price and allowing the bought out team to find a replacement game. We'll see soon enough if that word is true but as with anything I never count it as done until it's si...

I was annoyed by people in the stands wearing AppState gear that: 1- Never cheered 2- Never stood up 3- Left early 4- Took selfies of them selves all night (these were Mid 50 to 60 year old women. It was excruciating) No need to expand the stadium. All wee need are more club and luxury boxes and a ...

Re: Marketing help
After reading several posts this morning, I noticed several folks making suggestions on how to help marketing with awareness of our team and game day experience "advice". Here are a few things I noticed while at the game Thursday that could be improved on. Not a gripe session, just some thoughts as...

Re: Future Schedule
To the point not much difference between FCS and bottom tier FBS - the FCS teams we are now playing, yes there is a difference. Plus polls still have a human element. A win over FCS does nothing for you except 1 W closer to bowl eligible. A win over FBS, even if ranked 128 of 128 is still perceived...

Re: Vegas line for Georgia State
We are going to absolutely destroy them. I think we get our third shut out. Wish I could be there to laugh in Cobbs face, and celebrate with my fellow App Alum. And to enjoy Atlanta's night life. No need to laugh in his face.... We are SO much better off now with Doug Gillin! Cobb did well with the...

Re: Rivalry Database
I think the days of every year out of conference with the same team are going to fade. I wouldn't mind a rivalry game with ECU, ODU, Marshall and WFU. Play each one home and away on an 8 tear rotation. Although I can't see Wake coming up the mountain that often. Maybe throw Charlotte in their place...

Re: ESPN has AppState as a 21% Probability to Win Out
Projected final record of either 9-3 or 10-2. Not bad at all. The thing about these computer rankings early in the season is that the sample size is so small that they can change dramatically from week to week. But it's a nice data point. It is awesome to see us so high statistically. That will lea...

Alrighty then...
ESPN Statistical Matrix puts AppState at an almost 97% probability of beating Wyoming.
